LSP
The Historian by Elizabeth Kostova, The Count of Monte Cristo by Alexandre Dumas (pere), The Divine Comedy and La Vita Nuova by Dante Alighieri. Forever winners IMHO. Quote Link to comment

kimkinnison
I find myself collecting Whitley Strieber's books. Gene Wolfe's Book of the New Sun series is definitely worth reading again, as are Jack Vance's Planet of Adventure and Dying Earth series. Larry Niven and Fritz Lieber's works also left me rummaging my local book re-sellers for more of their stuff. Quote Link to comment
cocoy0
wala ka nang makikitang Fritz Leiber. I counted myself lucky finding one in Books for Less. Larry Niven though, maraming paperback iyun. If I find a book by Dave Barry, I usually get it for the great laughs. Quote Link to comment

I agree with a previous poster, Zecharia Sitchin and Erich von Daniken's stuff are also good reads (although some of their claims are dubious). Quote Link to comment
