The PC and Laptop Repair Guide

Recommended Posts

I just upgraded my memory card from 2x 256mb DDR1 266 PC2100 (Samsung) to 2x 512mb (Kingston) same specs, bakit po kaya ang bilis nya uminit? Naglaro lang ako ng CNC Generals saglit eh, napaka init na nya. Di tulad nung naka 2x 256mb lang ako. :headsetsmiley:

it means your memory is working, natural yan kumbaga kayod kabayo ang memory mo

mas mataas specs ng pc mo dapat mas maganda ventilation mo :goatee:

Dude, gaano ka lubog? Nalubog ba nung bagyo?

Kung kalulubog lang, baka mahabol pa ng contact cleaner para ma wash out ang tubig. Pero kung natuyo na sa tubig baha lalo na kung may putik, tapos natuyo na sa tagal, dun magkaka problema. Hehehe. A;though kahit maagapan ng linis pagkalubog, malamang may bumigay pa ring mga piyesa. Computers can se so sensitive.

Run some diagnostic tests in DOS mode.. hopefully you'll discover what is causing the problem. Run diagnostics on the following: Memory, HDD, Processor and board.

Dude - this may also be a problem with the power supply since bigla na lang siyang namamatay...since this is a laptop, better have it checked na lang...or, try to get the power supply off and have it tested and replaced...

usually issues with power are caused by failure of the following parts > mobo, battery or the charger. if you replaced the charger or the battery, and its still the same, you'll need to replace the motherboard, which is kinda expensive..

in your case... seems that you computer might be giving off a blue screen that you can't see because its set to automatically restart if there is system failure. you'd probably want to run some diagnostics. and accessing them depends on your laptops model. for a dell computer, you usually press f12 upon booting the computer.

otherwise try to access your computer's BIOS or CMOS, check if it continuously startup/shutdown from there.. let us know...

Ano kaya problem pag nag-appear sa monitor, VGA NO SIGNAL?

Na-check na lahat ng connections pero ok naman, unplug and plug na rin kaya lang ganon pa rin.

Thanks!

hhmmmm are you using an integrated or an addin video card? have you tried other monitors or video cables? make sure the cables are not loose and seated in tigthtly.

If a known good monitor works, then its time to replace your monitor. otherwise, if your using an integrated video card, then its time to replace the motherboard or get an add in video card. if using an add in try connecting the vga cable to the integrated video card port, if it works then your video card is already bad. ;) time to replace it.

Recently ganyan din sira ng laptop namin. pauli ulit na ayaw mag bootpatay sindi, even ayaw tumuloy sa CD to booth from XP . lately ko lang napansin when i checked CMOS BIos hindi nya nababasa yung DISC Drive. kaya ayun binaklas ko and kinabit ko ulit Disc Drive para lumapat for proper connection and then na booth ko sa XP and install fresh OS na rin.

Just recetly nagkaroon ng boot problem. GHere's the error

Error

Press <F1> to resume, <F2> to enter Setup

I also found out that one of the USB is not functioning. Tried to configure CMOS Setting but still the error appears.
