Golden State Warriors

Ws still too good for Cavs. I find it idiotic that some analysts actually think that the Cavs would have won the 2015 NBA championship with Love and Irving on board. How sure are they that these two would have helped Lechoke win the title? What is their basis? Would making Love shoot spot-up jumpers have helped? Would Irving shut down Curry?

No, I don't think Love would have helped. I don't even think he'd make a difference in that series. Curry would have gone crazy on Irving. Dellavedova, in my opinion, is a better match-up against Curry because of his size and grit.

As for the Cavs winning, We'll never know...

But Cavs would have better chances though...

May iba na kasi silang kailangan bantayan compared dun sa last series na yung defensive strategy is Stop Lebron lang...

Pero offensively, GSW is superior kahit andun yung 2.

Curry is Amazing.

Yung LeChoke, have you watched the finals to still call him that? hahaha

or it could also be that the team is not willing to give away their strategy this early in the season. if they have a gameplan on stopping curry if not him then shutting down the others like thompson and green defensively then they didn't give away anything. it was a close game throughout and the cavs merely did show that a grind it out strategy can be effective although i think they didn't really do much since they weren't at full strength with Kyrie just coming back from injury and being limited in minutes along with shump also just getting their conditioning back from injury. Anyway, its a regular season game, it will just be a stat if they meet again in the finals. Playoffs are a different animal after all as teams play a lot more physical and tougher. These type of games in the regular season, sometimes come out with a playoff atmosphere as teams know who to watch out for when they play them.

This is going to be a dilemma for the Warriors if they care more about beating a regular season record and limping to the playoffs because of injuries. As i have mentioned before are they will to risk injuries to their players that can potentially derail their chances of winning the championship because they are thinking of that chip on their shoulder of beating the regular season record of wins that was set by the 95-96 Bulls. At present, Curry is playing through a shin injury which he mentioned is "part of the season" where the Warriors coaching staff could decide to let him rest and let it heal instead of playing through it and treating it after each game. The Warriors last win against the Lakers saw Curry reinjuring the same shin when he drove to the basket against Randle, afterwhich he was seen limping.

They currently are dealing with some injuries to Thompson, Barbosa and Ezeli along with Curry. Even Barnes who just returned to the lineup is coming off an ankle injury which can linger throughout the season.

They have gotten by with these injuries because of their favorable schedules. They were able to win against the Nuggets even if they had only 9 players playing. But it will catch up with them once they play the better teams in the league like the Spurs, Thunder and other contenders for the playoffs.

Its up to the coaching staff to manage their minutes properly instead of playing them rugged. I like the way the Spurs are managing each of their players' minutes even resting guys like Aldridge and Parker, not just Duncan and the other older vets in their team.

How long will Golden State maintain this type of pace once they get injuries which can hamper their chances.

Nice analysis. hoping that warriors will reach playoffs with all key players at max health. beating bulls record will not matter if they don't get the championship. ^_^
