Labuyo
glad to see that the only sensible thread i started is still alive and kicking...i hardly get to play soccer nowadays since i'm more into ultimate frisbee lately... faster game and soccer players do well since familiar na with moving/cutting on the field. at alam to move w/o the ball/disc. hemingways, i have several teams that i hope would do well in the upcoming world cup. trinidad and tobago - i spent a considerable amount of time in that country and i have fond memories of it. (hey! didn't mean that all my reasons would be football related)japan and korea - since they're the closest asian country to the philippines that was able to qualifybrazil - because i strongly believe that they're primed to repeat. _eRon_
natalo ang sydney fc ng dep. saprissa, 1-0.. so dep. saprissa vs. liverpool na... badtrip nag-draw lang ManU w/ Everton, 1-1.. tsk tsk tsk..very disappointing..at least when you're down the only way to go is up.. transfer speculations for ManU..Nigel De Jong of Ajax Amsterdam & Thomas Gravesen of Real Madrid.. Ryan Giggs to Inter Milan daw..Roy Keane disproves reports of agreement to play for Real Madrid.. Quote Link to comment
bubuy
gravesen going to ManU is a bright spot.. he's played in the premiership before, he knows the style of play of the league.. i think he can mesh immediately with the players.. i just hope that the other players put more heart into their games.. xycho_g
gravesen to manu...pano na ang real!...lalong patay na... keane to real?...i have no comment.. giggs to inter...hmmm sounds interesting....ok un...inter fan p nmn ako...haha Quote Link to comment
bubuy
dont bet your bottom dollar keano will go to real.. he'll retire rather than go to spain.. as for gravesen leaving, real still has carlos diogo and julio baptista.. Quote Link to comment
jaypok
yup i think gravesen will be good for manu he's the type of player manu needs coz they need somebody who can boss the midfield we'll just have to w8t and see in jan Quote Link to comment
xycho_g
but gravesen is the holding midfielder, baptista is an attacking one, diogo...i dunno abt him...have no info abt this guy...real needs players like makalele and terry...defense!...haha.. Quote Link to comment
teio
if keane decides to still play... he might end up achoring glasgow celtics' midfield... a team he rooted for when he was growing up... for gravesen... goodluck... i hope he knows what he is doing... and with him packing the bags for rainy manchester... gravesen's spot is wide open for someone like michael ballack to occupy... ryan giggs to inter?... someone is already there who goes by the name of luis figo... and he plays the same position like giggs'... going back to manchester united... there is a speculation that the glazers will sack ferguson... the same move they did when they bought the tampa bay buccaneers... they fired long-time coach john mckay and brought in minnesota defensive coordinator tony dungy... dungy got the pieces together to establish one of the best defenses in league history but can't find a cure to their abyssmal playoff losses... dungy was fired and the glazers lured oakland raiders' head coach jon gruden despite a hefty price of two first-round and two second-round picks plus $8M... but the gamble paid off when chucky led the bucs to their first championship title... fans are currently egging the glazers to hire dutch mentor guus hiddink...
