Lahat ng gusto ng SMB, nasusunod ng madali. Its not money. (although binenta na ng mga Tan ang Tanduay later). Shell naman, sa tindi ng mga protesta kung bakit sila taas ng taas presyo ng langis at sa players lang nila daw napupunta ang mga increases, tinigil na ng Shell ang competition. In fact nagreklamo pa si Jayvee Gayoso regarding sa contract niya sa Tanduay. Parang hindi ata siya binayaran. Alam ko si Gayoso naging play by play announcer ng pba noong nasa channel 4 pa sila. In 2003, there was a contract dispute with regards to the tv coverage. Channel 4 and IBC 13 were somehow involved in this fiasco. Since 1996 pa ang PBA sa channel 13 tapos Vintage ang in charge sa pagbroadcast. Kaso nagsara or nalugi ata ang Vintage kaya nagkagulo sa pag broadcast. Nakita ko si Gayoso noon na nagbroadcast ng PBA games kasama si Norman Black after that season nawala na siya. I don't know what happened to him. Quote Link to comment

Kung 'di binayaran si Jayvee it only means na maaring nagkaroon nga ng financial difficultiesdilemma ang Tanduay, admittedly they were a good team back then esp. noong time na nasa kanila pa si Sonny Alvarado dahil pumasok agad sila sa championship sa PBA debut pa lang nila but as we all knew it all sumabit s'ya ng magkaroon ng crackdown sa mga nagpapanggap na may half-Filipino/Filipino lineage.... Hatfield and Hontiveros played for them after their inaugural season in the PBA. The following year they got Bong Hawkins and Noli Locsin. Asst. coach na lang ata si hawkins ngayon sa alaska. Ang tanda ko itong Tanduay ang nagumpisa na magalok ng mga "LUCRATIVE OFFERS" sa mga players nun just to attain their first PBA Championship... After Marlou Aquino dumped Tanduay's offer of 60 Million for ten years in favor of Sta. Lucia they made an unprecedented offer of 96Million for 16 years to San Miguel Stalwart Danny Ildenfonso that really rocks the whole PBA organization, bwah hahaha... That colossal offer sheet to Danny Ildefonso, looked as if the entire Philippine Basketball Association had been swept by a typhoon. It made the league league's top honchos convening for an emergency meeting then, San Miguel in an agitated mood and the rest of the teams worried. Wow... As far as I remember this is the lineup of the Tanduay Rhum Master:Alvarado, Menk, Cariaso, Hatfield, Fernandez, Pumaren, Yee, Agapito, Realubit, Hontiveros, Webb, Jarencio, Cantonjos Quote Link to comment

Nakabangga nya erpats nya at PBA kaya nawala na ang Tanduay sa Pro League. Ngayon sa UE na lang siya nagcoconcentrate kasi nabili nila yong school na yon. Noong sumasali pa sa Interbank ang China Bank isa sa mga kalaban na team ng China Bank ang Allied Bank. Kina Lucio Tan yung bank na yon. Nabanggit sa akin ng kaibigan ko na kasali sa China Bank team ang mga players ng Allied galing PBL at ang naging MVP ng liga si Bong Tan hahaha. Quote Link to comment
