Barenaked-NoMre
If I need to bring 1 with me ... it will be in the backpack (to support an event or have a DEMO mtg w/ a prospect client). While I will also have a shoulder bag, eco bag (with umbrella, bottled water & change of foot wear) &/or another eco bag w/ event stuff, if I am supporting an event at the time. Mspitz
Prefer backpack. Lots of different option size and compartment wise. I have a small size for daiky use and a larger one if I need to travel or have to carry more stuff. Notebook models have extra padding for the notebook and for travel fans some have quick access to remove them (e.g. airport security). You can wear them on your back or flip them forward like a pouch for more security. Avoid those older generic models not designed for a notebook. The water bottle carrier pouch is a plus! ozman88
These days I go for the sling pouch type that doesn't look like a laptop bag. Quote Link to comment

jologs32
I prefer a backpack. However, the freebies was a shoulder bag so I don't have a choice. Quote Link to comment

MyNameIsAllan
Meron na pong mga convertible bagpack to shoulder bags ngayon,, some as big as 18+" and can accomodate multiple laptops or laptop + books combination. Very expensive though Quote Link to comment
Xsdkxjd
Backpack - even weight distribution at mas protected ang laptop lalo na pag mag commute. Quote Link to comment
Supa.Chill'n
It depends. Back when I was in college, I preferred the over the shoulder bag because of the easy access to everything: just pull out the laptop and work. But now that I move around less moment to moment, the backpack is better for comfort and posture, especially when it's heavy. Quote Link to comment
