storm
Magaling akong mag-yoyo noon. I knew a lot of tricks. Madalas din kami noon sa arcade in Greenhills. My 1 peso will last for hours in the pinball machine. I also reached the star level in pac man. I had a ninoy shirt. Sumikat ang sebagos docksides and sperry topsiders. Nauso ang mga khaki chinos matched with either Lacoste or Polo. Uso rin noon ang mga Mobile Disco. Uso rin ang gel. Makakapal ang kilay (bushy) ng mga girls noon. Hindi pa uso ang shaved or waxed. :hypocritesmiley: Ralph Lauren's Lauren for women and POLO for men ang favorite fragrance noon. Hindi bagay sa kin ang wayfarer so I wore a tortoise armani shades and a Rayban black metal like the one worn by Jack Bauer in 24. I worked part time when I was still in college so afford ko ang mga luho. Quote Link to comment

FAHAD
The 80s was when I owned my first personal computer. An IBM Compatible PC that was assembled in Taiwan. Bought it for P19,000 in Greenhills. (Walang resibo para mas malaki ang discount. ) Popular PC Software used back in the mid to late 1980s on IBM-compatible machines:1. Wordstar (Word Processing)2. Lotus 123 (Spreadsheet)3. Flow (Flowcharting software)4. dBase (database software)5. Multimate (Word Processing) Computer programming languages in use:1. Basic (for personal computers)2. COBOL and FORTRAN (for mainframes)3. RPG (for midrange IBM System 36 computers) may subject kami sa college dati, computer 1 - wordstar, lotus 123, basic programming (flow-chart)...bumagsak ako. malay ko ba sa high-tech na computer na yan... FAHAD
The 1988 season saw only six teams, the PBA's lowest number for a season. Purefoods replaced the Tanduay Rhummakers. The Hotdogs became the league's glamour team overnight, as it was consisted of the five-best amateurs and the core of the defunct Tanduay team. Rookies Alvin Patrimonio 6-3, Jerry Cordinera 6-6, with Ramon Fernandez, led Purefoods to runner-up finishers in its first two conferences. All-Filipino Champions, Anejo Rhum 65, took the 1988 World Challenge Cup beating an IBA American ballclub.bro, di mo pa na kwento si michael haket of anejo rhum, nag score ng 107 points.si chip engeland at dennis steel din....sarap lang maalala. The 1988 season saw only six teams, the PBA's lowest number for a season. Dude, correction lang, 103 points ang record na nagawa ni Michael Hackett. This was broken by Tony "Hurricane" Harris ng Swift years later when he scored 105 points. Quote Link to comment

willow_boy
Sumikat noon ang mga gotohan. Masarap pa noon sa Goodah. I remember the days when I had regular "dinner dates" with college gfs sa Goodah. :boo: That was all I could afford then because all my date money came from savings from my daily school allowances. I have to give credit to my ex-gfs for being quite understanding about the whole thing. :thumbsupsmiley: Suki ako sa West Avenue and Sucat branches ng Goodah. Pero pag medyo upscale or sosyal ang dinner, sa Goodah branch sa Greenhills and punta namin. Quote Link to comment
