psyc0dud3
Big Backstage Heat On HHH Involving Jericho & Booker T Source: Wrestling Observer Newsletter While HHH has his friends in the locker room, the general feeling is that he still uses his political power to hold people back when he feels like they are getting too hot and could become a threat to him. John Cena is said to be one of the few people who blew up that HHH didn’t try to hold back. HHH is even less liked now than he was before his injury. The Game’s paranoia of losing his spot on the card dates all the way back to the MSG incident in 1996 when the clique broke character in front of a live audience, and for years he was punished for the actions of Michaels, Hall & Nash. When Booker T was rising in popularity, HHH was widely seen as part of the reason he left WWE for TNA. HHH felt that he couldn’t have a competitive match with Booker, because Booker had just done competitive matches with Jerry Lawler, a 58-year-old announcer. Booker T, who was well-liked in the locker room, had been in talks with TNA even prior to SumerSlam and the straw that broke the camel’s back was his suspension. The Game got even more heat on himself when he made some comments about Chris Jericho’s return that didn’t go over well with the guys backstage. HHH’s former Evolution partner Randy Orton is seen as one of the only people who stand up to him and Shawn Michaels backstage, but at this point in his career, HHH is basically untouchable. bret_hart
Triple H Said To Be The Most Disliked Person In The WWE Locker RoomSubmitted by Daniel Pena on Wednesday, January 9, 2008 at 2:14 PM EST source: www.f4wonline.com Triple H is said to be the most disliked person in WWE right now. A number of people were upset that he didn't make a stand to put over Ric Flair last week in what will very likely be his final match in Greensboro, North Carolina. Triple H has always had heat, but it really picked up over the summer when he basically squashed Booker T at SummerSlam. As part of his renegotiations with the company, they let Booker sit in on booking meetings. He was there to assure that nobody buried him and that he would be taken care of in his feud with Triple H. Of course, the biggest reason he ultimately quit the company was due to the 60-day suspension, but after his match with Triple H went down the way it did, there was a good chance he was leaving WWE anyway. Furthermore, a large number of people within the company believe the ordeal with Triple H is the reason why he left. Several people within WWE really like Booker T -- who was one of the most respected wrestlers in the locker room -- so they were very upset about how things went down. Triple H also buried Chris Jericho before he had even arrived. In a sarcastic manner, Triple H was going around to anyone who would listen saying that the company may have had some rough stretches in the past, but they were going to be fine again because "their savior" was coming back. The feeling in the locker room was that he was especially vindictive about Jericho because his wife Stephanie was a big proponent of bringing him back. A number of people believe Triple H came off as very petty in his comments. Quote Link to comment

hitman531ph
WWE is very close to signing TNA star Chris Harris. Chris Harris’ contract is reportedly ending in January. His agent has been negotiating with WWE over the last few days. Word has it that an agreement was reached, but the contract cannot be officially signed until his TNA contract ends. WWE will only test the superstars once a year for marijuana. If a wrestler is caught doing drugs, then they pay a $1,000 fine. However, it does not count as a strike with the WWE Wellness Program. That basically means that if a wrestler wants to smoke marijuana, all he has to do is pay $1,000. They don’t even have to worry about being fired for it. That’s good news for all of us Rob Van Dam fans. If every fan gave up $1, we can write a check to WWE for the violation. That way, we can get one of our favorite superstars back. There has been a settlement in the case over Chris Benoit’s estate. The Benoit family (Chris Benoit’s father and Chris Benoit’s two surviving children) and the Toffoloni family (Nancy Benoit’s family) have reached a verbal agreement. The estate will be divided equally in half. Many legal experts had predicted that the case would go poorly for the Toffoloni. They really didn’t have that much of a chance on winning. From all accounts, the Toffoloni family comes off looking pretty bad in this entire thing. Michael Benoit was willing to split the money evenly from the start. He even talked about having to spend $600,000 in legal fees to come to a decision that could have already been made months ago. Quote Link to comment

hitman531ph
WWE has signed a multi-time world champion to return. This bit of news has caused quite a stir within the internet wrestling community. As always, fans are going crazy with their guesses. Some have wildly predicted that it could be Stone Cold Steve Austin or the Rock. Others are a bit more realistic by predicting that it’ll be Rob Van Dam. Nice guesses, but chances are, the wrestler that will be revealed will be Ron “the Truth” Killings. The former TNA World Heavyweight Champion has reportedly signed a contract to return to WWE. Mr Kennedy will be getting married this upcoming weekend. No word yet on whether or not he will miss the upcoming Monday Night Raw. Quote Link to comment

Multi-Time World Champion Returning To World Wrestling Entertainment RevealedSubmitted by Daniel Pena on Saturday, January 12, 2008 at 9:34 PM EST source: Wrestling Observer Newsletter It was noted earlier in the week that a multi-time world champion was making his return to World Wrestling Entertainment. That individual is none other than "The Big Show" Paul Wight. He has either signed with the company or agreed to a deal. He will be starting full-time imminently. After leaving professional wrestling about a year ago, Wight started to pursue a possible career in boxing. He did some boxing training and got his weight down to about 440 pounds, thus leaving him in good shape. Wight had a boxing deal in place in which Hulk Hogan would have been his "front man" -- acting like a manager for him by doing promos and appearances. Hogan's involvement was the main reason many boxing promoters were actually interested in Big Show and paying him so much money to learn the sport. However, his boxing aspirations fell apart at some point as Wight realized that at his age (soon to be 36), boxing might not be the right career move for him go in. Furthermore, there have been no recent updates or talks of Hogan doing his own wrestling tour, which would have involved Wight had it gotten off the ground. With nothing on the horizon for Wight, he decided that it was time for him to make his return to World Wrestling Entertainment. Quote Link to comment
