WWE tried to obtain a temporary restraining order and injunction against Brock Lesnar from making 3 advertised matches for New Japan Pro Wrestling or from any additional appearances or contractual obligations with any other professional wrestling organization.

In a 21 page filing, Lesnar's lawyers have noted that it has taken the WWE almost a year since Lesnar filed his breach of contract lawsuit in attempt to obtain an injunction from the court, referring to the WWE's filing as "a brief that reads like the storyline in one of WWE's soap-opera styled professional wrestling events; intentionally blurring fact and argument, just as WWE's production blurs fantasy and reality as necessary to create a good versus evil drama."

Lesnar has asked the court to deny WWE's request because WWE has not proven that they will suffer "irreparable harm" if he works for NJPW, & that the delay in requesting for an injunction until this point in time hurts the argument that it is even needed.

The request for the TRO was denied.

It is reported that The Rock and Stone Cold Steve Austin were disgusted over the controversial Undertaker-Randy Orton angle that invovled Eddie Guerrero's car on the special Tuesday edition of Smackdown.

Austin and The Rock have been keeping their distance from the WWE lately, although The Rock has a legitimate excuse in his movie career.

A lot of WWE wrestlers have criticized a lot of Vince McMahon's recent decisions, including the said angle.

 

It is rumored that Bischoff is done with the WWE.

 

Chris Benoit's contract with WWE will expire next month. Currently, he is batting for a lighter workload.

Rumor has it that NJPW is interested in Benoit and is offering him to work on specific dates, which Benoit wants.

Right now, TNA hasn't tried to contact Benoit because of budget constraints. They have already invested a large amount of money for Sting's one year contract with the company.

Right now, it is unknown if Benoit will renew his contract with the WWE.

 

Tatanka will return to in-ring action in a Raw show on Dec. 28. He will team up with Shelton Benjamin to face Carlito & The Coach.
