Yung last match ni Angle sa WWE/ECW kasi, kalaban niya si RVD. Nagkaron siya ng groin injury dun. Napunit ata ung muscle niya sa betlog! hahaha! Anyways, common yang groin injury na yan sa Wrestling. Nagkaron na niyan si Triple H, booker T, and Edge. Yun lang mga naalala ko, sorry. Anyways, si Angle, kahit injured na, lumaban pa rin kahit ganun. Tapos nung nalaman ng management, pinayuhan nila si Angle na kumuha ng early retirement kasi nga over worked na siya physically and mentally. Pati pamilya niya naapektuhan. Pero si Angle, ayaw niya mag-retire siyempre naman, mahal niya trabaho niya. Pero ayaw na payagan ni Vince kasi akala niya mag-bebenefit yun kay Angle. Pero ayun nga, since free agent si Angle, nag-offer ang TNA. Tapos ayun, TNA na siya.

 

Kaya bago ka magbigay ng opinion, research ka muna ha. Good luck sa Lola at Tita mo. Pati panoorin mo ang commercial ng WWE. Kaya nga sports entertainment eh, BUT THE HAZARDS ARE REAL!

if he was legitimately injured then he should have still spoken up about it & asked for time off... the only reason he was advised to retire was concern for his physical well-being by his employers... he should be so lucky that the same insensitive jerks who ran wcw doesn't run wwe, otherwise they would've fired him when he was down & injured... the point is he left wwe under the pretense that he was severely overworking himself & needed to stop or he would risk permanent injury, then look out he pulls a 180 & signs up with a rival company... i hardly think the jarretts or panda energy could hardly give damn about the physical well-being of talent since they would even go to the lengths of hiring a guy who's health is a ticking time bomb...

Many people are speculating this is a confirmation that the NWO will return. This is really not the case. WWE renews trademarks constantly of old Factions, Wrestlers, etc to always keep their options open so they have the ability to produce merchandise in the future. The only reason the NWO has been mentioned on television recently is to help Eric Bischoff promote his “Controversy Creates Cash” book. WWE News: No Mercy main event changed to Fatal Four-Way

# WWE.com announced tonight a change in the main event for Sunday’s SmackDown No Mercy pay-per-view. The new main event is now a Fatal Four-Way match with King Booker defending against Lashley, Finlay, and Batista. Below is the official article posted on WWE.com:

Oct. 3, 2006

 

For the first time in SmackDown history, a pay-per-view main event has been changed with less than a week to go before the event. General Manager Theodore Long has ordered Sunday’s World Heavyweight Championship Match to be changed to a Fatal Four-Way.

 

Per the General Manager’s orders, King Booker will now be forced to defend his gold against not only No. 1 Contender Bobby Lashley, but also former World Heavyweight Champion Batista and Finlay.

 

As always, the rules of a Fatal Four-Way are simple: the first Superstar to record a pinfall or submission will take home the gold. Stay tuned to Friday Night SmackDown for more on this breaking story.

Smackdown, Oct. 6, 2006:

 

OK, first, the big news: The Main-Event at No Mercy will now be a Fatal Fourway between Booker, Lashley, Batista & Finlay.

 

 

Now that that's out of the way, crowd was red hot all night. Everyone got a big pop...even Tatanka! They may not even need to do any crowd sweetening for this show!

 

Dark Match:

 

*Kendrick/London vs. The Gymini - The Gymini aren't the best wrestlers, but the crowd was hot for this match since it was the first of the evening. Kendrick & London won.

 

1 - Rey Mysterio & Matt Hardy vs. Chavo w/Vickie & Gregory Helms - Good opening match., as you'd expect from these 4.End came shortly after Mysterio hit a double 619 on Hardy & Chavo to get the win.

 

2 - Tatanka vs. Elijah Burke - Burke is not only a pretty good wrestler and can cut a promo (which he did before the match) but he is also much more interesting than Sylvester Terkey. Burke won with interference from Terkey in the first heel win of the night. Lord knows Tatanka just can't be beat on his own, it takes two men to do the job. Terkey beat down Tatanka following the match.

 

*Backstage segment between Finlay, Booker, Sharmell & Regal. Booker demanded Finlay lay down for him tonight. Finlay said he won't, and asked Regal what he would do. Regal, looking flabbergasted, just walked off. Finlay reminded Booker that "...my name is Finlay, and I like to fight", before walking off leaving Booker and Sharmell mortified.

 

3 - King Booker vs. Finlay - If anyone wants to play the world's fastest drinking game, I think I invented it tonight. Every time Sharmell says "All Hail King Booker" take a shot. You WILL be intoxicated within 3 minutes flat. Good match. Crowd was really into Finlay with lots of Finlay chants, and then got bored out of nowhere and started a brief boring chant. The end came when Sharmell grabbed Finlay's leg, letting Booker nail him from behind, and also bringing out Little Bastard who chased Sharmell around the ring with a rat. This distracted Booker and the ref just long enough for Booker to be nailed in the head with the Shillelagh. Finlay pins the world champ for the win!

 

4 - Batista vs. Lashley - Batista easily, I mean easily, got the biggest pop of the night. Easily. This wasn't the, um, best idea for a match and I would advise WWE not to program these two in a feud anytime soon. Match ended in a no contest when Finlay ran out and attacked Batista. Booker then ran out and attacked Finlay. Then Lashley and Batista went at it. Then the referees & trainers got involved. Nothing could contain the mayhem until...

 

*Teddy Long showed up and announced since these 4 wanted to go at it so bad he was changing the main-event of No Mercy to a Fatal Four-Way for the World Title. Lashley got angry and attacked a guy who looked like Johnny Ace. The lookalike (not sure if it was him) landed in a wet spot and the cameras focused on the big wet area on his rear as exited the ring.

 

*Booker, Finlay & Lashley were all arguing with each other in Teddy Long's office when Batista came in and said "Hey Guys", causing them all to stop, "Can't we all just get along"? That got a big laugh out of the crowd. Batista then shook Long's hand and told him thank you. Then all 4 started arguing and Long interrupted and announced a main-event tonight of Lashley & Batista vs. King Booker & Finlay. No one looked happy about that.

 

5 - Sylvan vs. Jimmy Wang Yang - Yang is very over. After he made it to the ring they darkened the arena and played a backstage promo where he did his routine.This was actually one of the best matches of the night. Sylvan has really come a long way and he and Yang work really well together. Yang hit several innovative spots before losing to Sylvan, who grabbed the ropes to help pick up the victory.

 

* A platform that took forever to set up was brought out....so that MVP could come out and cut a boring promo on it. That guy's a double threat so far: He's not interesting and he's not over. If he's a bad wrestler I guess that'll make him a triple threat.

 

 

*The platform was taken away.

 

*Kennedy cut an incredible promo about Undertaker.shtml">The Undertaker from a room with a black background. One of the best promos I've seen all year on any WWE program. It's not a short promo either, they gave Kennedy a chance to really talk and build it up. It ended with him saying all the fans and other wrestlers might fall for cheap parlor tricks, which is all an exploding microphone is, but one man, one man won't and this Sunday Undertaker will never forget the name Kennedy". This promo alone is worth watching Smackdown for. It really is that good, and I'm not even a big Kennedy fan.

 

6 - Ashley w/ London & Kendrick vs. Michelle McCool w/ Idol & Stevens - McCool, Idol & Stevens cut a backstage promo before the match. Let's just say it was no Trish vs. Mickie or Lita, and that ended when Idol & Stevens interfered, allowing McCool to roll up Ashley with a handful of tights.

 

7 - Batista & Bobby 'The Bore" Lashely vs. Finlay & King Booker - Thankfully we were spared Sharmell's introduction this time. A decent tag match that was made above average by the crowd. They were louder than any pyrotechnics when Lashley made a hot tag to Batista. That guy is popular in Wichita. I thought it was just me, but apparently it's not. Matche ended in a no-contest when Regal ran down and got involved. Chaos ensues. Little Bastard gets involved, almost gets mauled by Batista, but flees the ring, leaving a staredown between Batista and Lashley to close the show.

 

*Overall, a hot crowd and a good show.

WWE News: Reason No Mercy’s main event was changed, Brooke Hogan speaks

# The reason WWE changed the main event for Sunday’s No Mercy pay-per-view to a Fatal Four-Way match is because they felt that Lashley would not be a big enough draw for the event and consequently, the buy rate would suffer. The internal feeling is that Batista is SmackDown’s biggest draw and by utilizing his and King Booker’s talent, the pay-per-view will be a success.

 

# Brooke Hogan is on the cover of the November edition of FHM magazine. Inside she is featured with an eight-page photo spread. In the feature article, Brooke made reference on several professional wrestling figures such as Randy Orton by saying he is “hot” and said she also considered Randy Savage, Jimmy Hart, Brian Knobs, and Brutus Beefcake as her uncles at one time. She spoke how Randy Savage use to baby sit her when she was little.

WWE News: The Boogeyman rehired by the WWE?

It has been reported by the Wrestling Observer newsletter that Marty Wright, otherwise known as "The Boogeyman" has been re-hired by the WWE. This is according to a recent interview that King Booker conducted for The Fight Network, who confirmed that Wright has been rehired.

 

Boogeyman was released from his WWE contract on September 20th and recently announced he is leaving behind wrestling to pursue a career in acting in halloween movies. At this moment in time, it has not been officially confirmed by the WWE but an announcement is forthcoming next week.

1 hr lang talaga ang ECW kasi under control pa sila ng WWE... sort of. as soon as WWE let ECW have their own creative team, ECW will air for 2 hours. ang daming characters na pinupush sa ECW until now na hindi magkasya sa 1 hour. minsan yung ibang wrestles nadadaanan na lang ng camera tulad ng FBI (full blooded itallian).

WWE Survivor Series Poster Finally Released

After much speculation and several fake posters which circulated, WWE has released it’s 2006 Survivor Series Poster. Many weeks ago, it was believed a fake poster featuring the nWo logo and DX logo were part of an official poster, but that turned out to be false.

 

**Possible Spoilers Contained Below**

 

This poster features a large skeleton skull, above the skull in a grayish/white color are all three champions: King Booker, John Cena, & Big Show each featured with their individual belts. Basically that means that all three men should retain their belts heading into Survivor Series & that King Booker should retain this weekend at No Mercy.

 

The background is black and brown with the Survivor Series logo featured at the bottom of the poster. The top of the poster features the headline “This November On Pay Per View” and the skull that is featured as a weird tattoo thing going on as well.

DX VS. NWO LOOKING INCREASINGLY UNLIKELY

 

The Wrestling Observer is reporting today that Kevin Nash has agreed to a new deal with TNA and will be indeed returning to the company. TNA has already confirmed that Kevin Nash will be making an appearance on TNA iMPACT! next week on Thursday night on Spike TV at this link.

 

Nash's last appearance for TNA was at the Hard Justice PPV, an event where he was scheduled to face Chris Sabin in a #1 Contendership Match for the X Division Title. Nash complained of neck problems days before the PPV and was instead replaced by Alex Shelley in the match. Although they were very strong rumors to begin with, Nash's re-signing with TNA will more than likely k*ll rumors of an NWO re-birth in WWE.
