gusmatikas
Its just pure entertainment. Just like PBA its sports entertainment. Kaya nga ako I prefer the Colegiate games kasi ako sure na talagang laban dun. Opinion ko lang naman yun eh.......... Quote Link to comment

kotiko
WWE is still fun until now for me. It's such a great idea for WCW to join forces with WWE. I've been watching it since I was in elementary, until now. Quote Link to comment
marc.alan
so, saan ang telecast ngayon? can u pick it up sa local channels o sa cable lang?? Quote Link to comment
jt2003
I agree with one of our friends here. Mas maganda ang UFC. We all know that professional wrestling is fixed, but we suspend our disbelief. Nakakatuwa kasi. There are real athletes in professional wrestling. Kung hindi ka athlete, patay ka na with all those hits (how can anyone, in real life, actually survive a piledriver? but you see on replay may konting alalay). Nakita naman natin sa documentaries yan. But showbiz aside, mas maganda pa rin ang UFC. Quote Link to comment
DRAGONCLAW_39
sakin mas ok ang WWE. Ang UFC naman maganda lang sa umpisa but later on, it get boring unlike WWE, nakakatawa yung ibang segments nila saka nandoon sa tori wilson and stacy keebler and trish stratus...sarap non. Quote Link to comment

jt2003
rockhard, I don't know if you were around during the time, but there was once this wrestler called Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka. He exemplified what you said about flying without wings. He would finish a match by jumping from the top rope ... but without the clumsiness of many pro wrestlers. The last I saw him, binugbog siya ni Undertaker who was then just a rising star. Quote Link to comment
tabachoi[-^_^-]
so, saan ang telecast ngayon? can u pick it up sa local channels o sa cable lang?? nasa solar channel sya tol (hindi solar sports ha) dun sa channel na may UFC din. bagong episode ng RAW every wednesdays @ 10pm. di ko alam sked ng sunday night heat nila tsaka wwe velocity e. methos
I'm a big fan of wrestling, kaya buti na lang nagkaroon sa Solar Channel!! WWE Heat is on wed. 9pm, followed by Raw. Velocity naman is on fri. 9pm. Nagre-replay naman sila every sat. & sun. mga 3pm yata. I've been a fan since early 1980s, kainis nga nung tinaggal nila sa star sports. Well after 2 years nakakapanood ako ulit! Quote Link to comment
methos
Wrestling is not fake, but rather it is SCRIPTED and CHOREOGRAPHED. Buti nga ganito para walang career-ending mishaps. And also, what job can you find wherein you can punch, kick, hurt your boss on national TV and get paid for doing it?! Quote Link to comment
jt2003
There was this documentary showed on HBO. I can't recall the exact title, but it may be "Under the Mat." It concerned professional wrestling . The scripts (they actually have writers), the choreography, etc. Among the featured wrestlers were Jake "the snake" Roberts, Mankind, and Terry Funk. Like I said, you have to be a real athlete to perform, since your athletic ability will most probably save your opponent from life-threatening injury. But I keep wondering. Do these wrestlers get paid enough to undergo the torture that they sometimes suffer as part of the script? In the documentary I cited, Mankind's children were crying as they watched their father bleeding from all those hits to the head with a chair inflicted by The Rock. It was in the script, but explain that to a child seeing his father being beaten up. Quote Link to comment

Balita ko in-attempt bilhin ni Vince McMahon yung documentary film na yun kasi it featured the wrestlers as "humans", natakot ata sya baka ma-"damage" yung product nya. Quote Link to comment
