psyc0dud3
Wrestling Observer News and Notes for Future Dec 4 Issue Survior Series Match Ratings1) Legends vs Sprit Squad = **1/42) Benoit vs Chavo = ***1/43) Mickie vs Lita = *1/24) Team DX vs Team RKO = **3/45) Kennedy vs Taker = ***6) Team Cena vs Team Show = **1/47) Big Dave vs Booker = *1/4 Obviously there's news about Piper, but nothing anyone here doesn't already now. Lita obviously wasn't happy with her on screen exit from WWE. She wrote on her MySpace two days after the show, "... To say I was disappointed with my final moments with WWE is quite an understatment. It was comforting to read all your comments and e-mails when I got home. I appreciate that you were able to see I did my best in the situation that was handed to me to give you guys an entertaining match and play along and be a professional with the other stuff that went along with my big farewell night... If that were why I was writing, it'd probably be about 10 pages long and with a bunch of (expletives) and captial letters." She was very happy though with her farewell when it came to the wrestlers themselves. Edge reserved the top floor of a bowling alley and all the wrestlers came to honor her with a surprise party. Jim Ross signed a a one-year contract, rather than the standard three-year deal with a two year company option. Ross was coming off a ten-year contract negotiated in 1996. After all the attemptst to replace him over the past year they seem to be admitting they've not been able to find anyone, but are not committed to JR is anything other than short term. His actual contract expired on 10/29 and he signed a two week extention. At one point there was talk of allowing to work without a contract, but Vince wouldn't have that as it would allow him to walk into TNA any time he wanted. Ross, who turns 55 in a few weeks, is largely out of the loop in the power structure of the company after being the number two guy for a long time. His duties now involve announcing Raw, doing the talent payroll and giving written feedback on the TV shows. There is talk of having Matt Hardy move to Raw full time and have the Hardyz as a full time tag team again following how well they got over the the ECW show. Sabu is in the dog house after being in rough shape and falling asleep backstage on 11/20 in Baltimore. They decided not to fire him, but it was strongly talked about. The company wants to keep him around untill at least Wrestlemania as they want him to induct the Shiek into the Hall of Fame in Detroit. Sabu isn't happy though as he feels the WWE isn't allowing him to be the old Sabu and he thinks that without that character he's nothing. After the MNM vs Hardyz match at the ECW PPV Nitro and Melina will head back to Raw while Joey Mercury will stay on ECW as a singles heel. For Armageddon on 12/17 the main events will be Undertaker vs Kennedy in a Last Ride Match and Kane vs MVP in an Inferno Match. The top match will more than likely be Batista and Cena vs Booker and Finlay. There's probably also going to be a Benoit/Chavo rematch. The 1/7 New Years Revolution show will have Cena vs Umaga for the title and probably some sort of gimmick match between DX and Rated RKO. Flair is going to be taking time off for his divorce situation this month. He's already paid Beth $540,000 in cash, plus $20,000 a month in alimony. A casting call has been set up on 11/29 for women who are "18-28 yrs Super hot. Great attitude. Big personality". Michelle Deighton, Jonny Fairplay's girlfriend, has an interview with Laurinitis coming up soon. She was on America's Next Top Model. Cena is in People magazine's 100 sexiest men of the year list. Apparantly they're going to put over his 'sexy eyes'. Settlement talks are starting soon between Warrior (the artist formally known as Jim Hellwig) and WWE regarding 'The Self Destruction of the Ultimate Warrior' DVD. In a prior legal settlement over the catchphrase "Always Believe" the two sides agreed never to disparage each other in public and Warrior feels, probably rightly, that the DVD did exactly that. They have been pushing the 1/1 Raw with Cena and K-Fed hard, so hopefully there's been some forward planning and they at least know what they're going to do on 1/1 and maybe even can use it to build to Mania. Candice Michelle suffered a deviated septum from a stiff kick from Victoria. She will be under going nasal surgery very soon. Michelle McCool has been hospitalised for more than a week due to an enlarged kidney and anelectrolyte imbalance. The condition was serious enough that it could have led to heart of kidney failure if left untreated. 'The Marine' is now at $18,518,049 domestic, and $991,837 internationally. They have hired Brian Friedman and Nick Florez, two choreographers to set up new individualistic ring entrances for the women. Quote Link to comment

psyc0dud3
SMACKDOWN! TAPING RESULTS FOR DEC. 8, 2006 WWE Smackdown was filmed in Florence, South Carolina last night, and here are the results of the show: In a dark match, Henry Godwin (with the slop bucket) and Ray Gordy defeated Rob Conway and Tatanka when Godwin hit the Slop Drop on Conway. Smackdown began with a hearse parked near the entrance ramp. Ken Kennedy came to the ring and talked about how he had beaten the Undertaker twice and had nothing left to prove. The bells then tolled, the hearse backed up to the ring, and the Undertaker got out. Kennedy ran out of the ring and escaped through the crowd as the Undertaker posed. William Regal and Dave Taylor defeated London and Kendrick. London was outside the ring protecting Ashley or something of the sort when Kendrick was pinned. Once again, we got the World Heavyweight Champion wrestling in the middle of the show next as Batista beat Finlay by disqualification. Little Bastard came out from under the ring during the match and jumped off of the top turnbuckle. Batista caught him, and I believe this is when Finlay hit Batista with the shillelagh. Then, King Booker ran out and got Finlay dq'ed as they both beat Batista down. Surprisingly, Cena did not appear to help Batista. As a side note, I saw the way that Little Bastard got under the ring. During the commercial time before this segment, the lights went out during a video on the Titantron. About a dozen ring crew guys then walked down the ramp, around the ring, and back up the ramp. I caught a glimpse of LB in the group right before he slid under the apron. The funniest part was during the second commercial break after this match, with the lights on, he jumped out from under the ring and ran to the back as fast as he could. In the next match, Jimmy Wang Yang beat Jamie Noble for the number one contendership to the Cruiserweight title. I assume this will take place at Armageddon. Gregory Helms was commentating during this match. Chris Benoit did a backstage interview talking about Chavo and Vickie when Vickie walked up in a neck brace and whined about Benoit knocking her off the apron. She then slapped Benoit and stormed off. When she got around the corner, Chavo was there waiting. They chuckled about it, and it seemed like Vickie was faking the injury. MVP complained to Teddy Long about being put in the Inferno Match at Armageddon against Kane. Long said he would give MVP a chance to soften Kane up next week on Smackdown, as it would be MVP and Ken Kennedy against Kane...and the Undertaker. MVP flipped out. Chris Benoit beat Sylvan in a squash. The Miz beat Scotty 2 Hotty in a quick match. Afterwards, Boogieman came down and beat on Miz outside the ring. He then ate worms. The main event was Ken Kennedy vs. Kane. MVP came out and helped Kennedy beat Kane down. Undertaker's music hit and the lights went out. When the lights came back on, Kane was gone. Then the lights went out again and when they came back on, Undertaker and Kane were standing in the ring behind MVP and Kennedy. I assume this is where Smackdown went off the air. The four men had a match afterwards (probably a dark match), but I left before it was over. So, after this taping, the Armageddon card is taking shape. In addition to the 3 matches already announced, it appears that Benoit will take on Chavo, Regal and Taylor will get a tag title shot against Kendrick and London, Gregory Helms will defend the Cruiserweight title against Jimmy Wang Yang, and the Boogieman will face the Miz. psyc0dud3
PAUL HEYMAN GONE FROM WORLD WRESTLING ENTERTAINMENT by Mike Johnson @ 5:12:00 PM on 12/4/2006 Paul Heyman was sent home from today's Monday Night Raw/ECW taping in North Carolina following a meeting with Vince McMahon. We are still working on the story, but the word going around is that Heyman has been removed from the WWE's ECW creative team and looks to be entirely done with WWE at this point and time, although he's not (yet) been released from his contractual obligations. According to one source, Heyman had a meeting with Vince McMahon and was then escorted from the venue. There is a meeting ongoing currently with ECW talents about Heyman's departure. World Wrestling Entertainment posted an article on their website, noting that Heyman was sent home (but not released), citing, "The WWE Chairman cited slumping television ratings and a disgruntled talent roster as causes for Mr. Heyman’s dismissal." PWInsider.com will have more on the story shortly, but at this point and time, tomorrow's episode of ECW on SciFi looks to be the first produced without the input of Paul Heyman. Brock was supposed to play in NFL and Bill was put 'on the shelf' by Vince! Yun ang alam ko, pero as far as i know hnd rin nakapaglaro sa NFL si Lesnar, maybe he sucked! hehe... and to top it all, Lesnar was sued by WWE! Ayos pati si Heyman TNA bound na (san pa ba pupunta yan)! Vince better beware, magiging combination ng ECW and WCW talents and MORE ang TNA!!! Quote Link to comment

HighVoltageLover
IMHO Meron ding mga ok na wrestlers sa TNA Like Samoa Joe. Minsan kase sa WWE very predictable na mga gagawin nga mga "sports entertainers" Quote Link to comment
JustSmile=)
Ill bet Big Show will be on TNA after makalipat nila RVD and Sabu. If you think TNA is big now, wait till those talents get picked up by Jim Cornette. Vince totally lost his mind, kung sa tingin nia my bubuhat pa sa WWE like ng ginawa ni Stone Cold dati nung time ng WCW, he's got another thing coming! DX cant and wont be able to do it coz they are getting old and quite frankly their entertaining acts have toned down..... way down! And Cena, well he just plainly sucks! Kala ko tapos na ung golden age ng professional wrestling pero mukhang my aftermath na padating ha, ayos to, at least lalabas ulit ung creative thinking ng mga writers unlike now na kung ano ano na lang! Cant wait kung ano susunod na mangyayari!! Quote Link to comment
