mukhang kelangan ko na mag-change ng running route

dumadami na yung aso sa dinadaanan ko

hinabol na ako ng mga aso once, buti kakastart ko palang so napa todo sprint ako

nakakabitin pa naman... i have to stop or slowdown to a walking pace pag may mga aso

 

Question: may nakatakbo na ba sa inyo dito sa ultra? may bayad ba? shower rooms? details pls. thanks.

 

 

Alam ko open to the public at may bayad. Hinahanap ko kung saan ko nabasa pero hindi ko makita. Parang P20-50 yata entrance fee? Not sure basta mura lang yung entrance. Hindi ko alam kung may shower area at lockers for the public at kung magkano bayad kung meron.

 

Pero sigurado ako maraming artista doon nag-practice!!!! Yun yung sabi ng mga trainers na madalas doon.

may maliit na bayad sa entrance ng track, di ko na matandaan kung P15 o P50, basta small fee lang. may shower rooms pero kung ako ikaw, sa bahay na ako maliligo. you can leave your things in the car or on the bleachers, not sure pero parang walang lockers.

 

medyo luma na yung track at di patag sa isang banda pero madaming mahuhusay na runners sa umaga at sa hapon, kaya nakakagalak tumakbo. dito rin ata ginaganap yung mga running camps ni coach rio.

1 week to go before RU1... mukhang busy lahat sa practice (at mukhang pupulikatin na naman ako haha)..

Wala pa ako disenteng takbo mula Condura. Cramming na naman next week.

 

@ppdd - natutunan ko sa Condura cramps galing sa nauubusan ng glycogen. Kailangan batayan ang intake ng gels o bananas during the run para hindi maubusan ng fuel ang katawan. Yun at electrolytes. Try taking gels o bananas every 30 mins to 1 hr while running.

 

Before Condura, I didn't take gel. I can only go 17 km before cramps hit. During Condura, I took 1 gel every 45 mins and lasted up to km33 before cramps started. Big improvement!

happy sunday to everyone! takbo sana ako sa conquer philippines today (sunday) kaso na-cancel yung event at naresched to May... refund nalang tapos register sa ibang run hehe

1week na lang, RU1 na. :unsure:

 

Scared runner/participant here. :lol:

The longest run i had since the condura was this morning at 16km. And at a disappointing time pa! No injuries though. Sana ganun pa rin next week. Lalo at wala akong support system. Haha. First time ko to run in manila without anyone waiting for me at the finish line nor noone to hold on to my stuffs! :lol: so help me, God! :blush:

A little Field Report :

Nasa baguio ako from March 8-12... I jogged around Burnham park at Leonard Wood Road (going to the Mansion and Mines View Park), para sa Baguio 2wenty 1ne na ginanap nung March 10... Flat ang Burnham Park... Pero yung Leonard Wood, daming Hills... kaya ayun, hirap sa event... hahaha...

 

masarap tumakbo sa Baguio, lahat yata ng skills mo maeenhance dun, speed, strength, stamina... plus, malamig pa... 9am n, malamig p din... hehe....

 

 

Since yrrah123456789 has given me a chance to run 21km on sunday,

sino may gusto ng 10km slot? :D

Mag bandit sana ang friend ko just so she can run as well. She will make use of my singlet anyway, para di gaanong obvious. :lol:

Ang saya! Nice to meet everyone yesterday!

 

Masmasarap talaga kumain kapag masaya ang mga kasama. Di ko akalain mauubos ko yung burger. hehehe

Sabi ni tin (yung friend ko): " aray!!" Kahit kasi sya di nya akalain mauubos nya yun. :)) at until now po, di pa sya nakakarecover sa fact na nauna pa syang nakaubos ng burger kesa sainong mga boys! :lol:

 

Sa sunod, dun tayo sa mcdo lang. Mas maliit na burger lang e. :blush:
