THUG
it depends on the workout, if you will be riding the stationary bike for long periods like for more than 30 minutes then wear a padded cycling shorts.. any non-cotton shirt will do.. i just wear my running singlets.. -- although the best multi-purpose gym short for me is perhaps the adidas multi purpose shorts. not too fit and not too tight, comfortable. It also doubles as a beach or pool shorts..it also has a zippered pocket at the back, for storing coins, keys etc.... just perfect! Quote Link to comment

monsty
I prefer something that hides my body, loose t and jogging pants. I focus and do my own thing. I get distracted when other guys look with judging eyes. Quote Link to comment

bikerider
Shoes - a good pair of cross trainers, i like using nike shox cross trainers for greater cushion and grip Bottoms - knee length shorts or capri pants; i wear bike shorts underneath when i go spinning. Tops - loose t-shirts or muscle shirts (dri-fit/climacool materials are the best) of course, never do without my ipod Quote Link to comment
Jacques
In my opinion cross trainer rubber shoes are fine. Although base on my experience, parang madaling masira ang sole ng shoes both inside and outside because of the added weight pressure it has on weight training. Napansin ko lang that almost all rubber shoes I use for working out medyo bumabaon yung tapakan ng sapatos. Needless to say thick and "fancy" soled rubber shoes provide an unstable base for heavy lifting support. Lately I found out that Badmenton shoes (one with hard beige colored soles and not to thick) works best when I work out in the gym. Quote Link to comment

Thank you in advance. are you thinking of using cycling shorts as a supporter? don't the shorts they use aren't cycling shorts, they're compression shorts cycling shorts trap moisture, and this plus the heat from your workout will give you fungi in your peepee you don't want that Quote Link to comment

Thank you in advance. no specific brand, and i don't know if there is even a particular brand for cycling shorts, i just buy from local cycling stores.. just go drop by any cycling stores in cartimar.. there is also a cycling store in buendia, near LRT, just beside KFC and wendy's Quote Link to comment
daDJ
I use compression shorts. I find them better than cycling shorts. Edited March 28, 2007 by daDJ Quote Link to comment
