its just like D&D in some ways. you roll up stats and pick a character based on what you rolled. some characters come with roll modifications and pluses and minuses on the stats. then each character also has a primary, secondary, and tertiary skill set. primary and secondary are based on the character's knowledge, plus areas of study. tertiary is based on hobbies. and even these studies could influence your stats! i.e. a skill in boxing adds hit points, strength, mods in parrying, dodging and falling. etc. in other words, ang raming mong erasures just making your damn character!

Maayos naman e. Cute nga noong binanggit nila kung bakit naging ganoon iyung characterization nila considering the characters were played first by the authors and their friends. Ramdam mo habang binabasa ang novels nila yung mga critical fumble, intervention ng DM, in-party intrigue saka yung frustrations nila. Kung naging kasama ko nga sa party si Tas, matagal ko na siyang pinalo ng vallenwood.

 

Si Salvatore kaya, ginamit kaya niyang character si Drizzt sa gaming sessions niya? Sa pagsusulat niya parang siya ang DM.
