miggyE
at cocoy0, they mostly carry D20's, but there are other games, just harder to find.... Quote Link to comment
green4tato
Saw that Neutral Grounds has a complete set of dice (D4, D8, D20, D10, D6), but I didn't want to buy an entire set simply because I wanted D4s. Ah, well... Quote Link to comment

cocoy0
Booksale's having a special again for 2011. Three separate branches may nakita akong D&D sourcebooks. Worth checking out. Quote Link to comment
green4tato
Sa Greenhills Virra Mall, may Neutral Grounds near the food court. Complete set of dice was P325, I think. Found some D4s and D8s at a store on the 2nd floor called Fortress. Katabi nung Maxicollector. 1 Quote Link to comment

cocoy0
Depende shitkid05. Ako I'm more on collecting rulebooks, lalo na wala ako malapit na kalaro. You could get the feel by playing games such as Baldur's Gate, Diablo 2 or even Nethack. Quote Link to comment
idecris
oh my! D&D, TSR, Dragon Dice! I miss this stuff! Quote Link to comment
Crystalmare
Was doing some back reading on this topic and it saddens me that the number of active players have dwindled. I am currently in a D&D campaign (3.5 Rules) with some friends from Eastwood City. If anyone in the area is interested in playing then just send me a PM My favorites are D&D, Shadowrun, Mechwarrior, Battletech, Marvel and Robotech. Quote Link to comment
nubile
anyone still playing whitewolf classics? Quote Link to comment
cocoy0
I was watching Unang Hirit where they featured some people displaying Games Workshop products. I was wondering if ayaw lang nilang aminin na pang-tabletop wargaming ang mga yun o ayaw lang nila masabihan na isip-bata o ayaw lang nila sabihin ang brand. Quote Link to comment

DiamondGothic
wala bang MageKnight players dito? haven't played for a looooong time, last time i picked the game up college pa ako nun... i wonder if it's still being sold... Quote Link to comment
cocoy0
@DiamondGothic: I think so. Mayron pa rin sa Neutral Grounds. Quote Link to comment
DiamondGothic
@DiamondGothic: I think so. Mayron pa rin sa Neutral Grounds. hey thanks cocoy... might drop by there pag nasa manila naman ako uli... currently based dito sa western visayas region. i played this way back in college days, when it first came out. starter packs were 900 PHP and booster packs were about 450-500 (can't remember tagal na eh). i think i still got my first edition figures at home, nakatago lang... also, MK did try to do a D&D thing with MK: Dungeons, it was a far more easier version of D&D, complete with dungeon mat, but unlike D&D, it leaves no room for imaginative storytelling hehe. maybe that's why it didn't become a hit with roleplayers. dabsj
@DiamondGothic - WizKids closed. A different company picked up Heroclicks which is why it still alive. Mage Knight died first followed by Mechwarrior. Mage Knight made it to a 2nd version where you could 'attach' equipment to the different pieces to change a stat or give them additional power(s), but it wasn't enough to save the game. There are still old boosters of the different expansions being sold but be aware its a dead game. Quote Link to comment
dabsj
Oh I am trying out the heroes of neverwinter game on facebook (although its still closed beta - swertehan lang kung makakuha ng slots.) I wasn't aware they had a 100 year time skip in Forgotten Realms 4th ed. or is that just for the game? Quote Link to comment

MK was a more affordable (and far more easier way) for casual geeks and gamers to get into the Warhammer-type tabletop genre. i wonder if there is still value for those old figures of mine?
