TNT Hsia
Lately, I've been discovering life isn't about the pursuit of pleasure & happiness as well as the avoidance of pain & discomfort, although they are but natural physical reactions. It has been more in living a life of faith ... that the truth will always set me free,of hope ... that there is always a future of limitless possibilties that I can work on,& of love ... that it is always my choice to generate the gift of meaning for myself & others. BnF95
Hmmmm.... I wonder, if it ever occurred to you to swap one to the other? Like Buddhist on Sunday and Catholic on a Monday? Hehehehe!Peace bro! :goatee:No issue, I swap them around with others almost monthly. Quote Link to comment
BnF95
Oh! So your not joking then? I honestly thought that you only meant what you said as a joke.... I take fragments of each religion that I admire and weave it into a new whole. I have a religion, a personal one. I don't like beaurocrats of any stripe, and I find that existing churches/sects have too much indocrination about their own beliefs, so ... made my own. I do really like my celebration to Isis and Aphrodite though ... :thumbsupsmiley: Quote Link to comment
BnF95
I wonder what do you call "your" religion? It ain't got a name, I figure a man's faith is his own business. (I use masculine because I am a man, but the term can be switched to a feminine version just as easily.) Quote Link to comment
