yup...the new expansion is the 3rd expansion to the ice age block....pero it doesn't mean that ice age and alliances will be standard....kumbaga, pang close ng chapter yung coldsnap.... ^_^

 

when did you start playing magic?....hmmmm, if you started playing in the mid 90's o late, there's no prob....you only have to catch up with the new card abilities.... ^_^

 

started way way back.... alpha and beta cards up to alliances then stopped playing... too many hobbies packs a punch on the budget have to give it up...

 

wow these cards seems good... wonder will it fare on a type 1 no restriction deck....

WHOA!!! old school!!! do you still have the cards? if you do, all i can say is - you're one lucky guy!!!! idol! ^_^ .....if only i started earlier....hmmmm, it would be - i'm 10 years old if i started playing when alpha cards came up.... ^_^

 

type1 vs. type2?.....i think vintage will win....but it all depends on the draw...old cards are strong!!!! ^_^

 

what are your other hobbies, if i may ask? :)

NO, IF YOUR CARDS ARE TYPE 2, YOU CANNOT PLAY IN A TYPE 1 TOURNEY.

 

TYPE 2 OR STANDARD, LIMITED ANG MGA CARDS SA PARTICULAR EXPANSION.

EG. KAMIGAWA BLOCK, RAVNICA BLOCK, CLODSNAP, AND 9TH ED.

 

LAHAT NG IBANG EXPANSION AY TYPE 1 OR VINTAGE.

 

TYPE 1.5 IS EXTENDED. THIS IS TYPE 2 PLUS ILANG SETS PA FROM TYPE 1. PERO ANG KASALI YUNG MOST PREVIOUS SET.

dude, i'll bow down to you....cuz you have them!...it's quite a fortune!....oh no - don't tell me you have a black lotus!.....

 

have them also... but i guess the grade is near mint... some cards like the black lotus, jesters cap etc have some water damage... :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: when a section on my old apartment got flooded a lot of comics, cards and posters were caught by it... luckily only 1 album has a near mint condition cards

am planning to buy or rather play again just for fun... the new expansion is interesting... but i dont know how to play and what cards have the best combo...

 

any of you have an idea on a site or infos help an old mtg player start up or hook up

 

my primary source of info is magicthegathering.com...but if you want tons of decklists, there are a lot of sites with it...essentialmagic.com and magicdeckvortex.com are some of the examples.....
