deviantartist
Yup mostly what interests your date, searching for commonalities and differences.. Things that would let him/her talk passionately and without pretensions Quote Link to comment
AtLastAmFree
whereabouts...what are you into...and then sharing past love stories Quote Link to comment
Guest Yavanna
i like first dates because i can ask questions and genuinely be clueless of the answers. meaning... there's a whole new person to discover. so just ask away. better to focus on interests. but anything can be a topic so long as they are not very personal. learn to take hints. if the other person is not willing to answer a question the first time, that means you have to move on to the next topic. YeN_TaW
hmm... This is the easiest part of dating... daming question that you can ask. avoid very personal topics though.. start with work, school etc. Quote Link to comment
ligtasan
First dates are recon missions. I always ask general questions and let a conversation start from there. The usual stuff: any common interests, what does she like to do, favorite songs, movies, etc. YeN_TaW is right though. No personal questions, this is only the first date. First dates are a time to get to know a person better and, if they make a good enough impression, a time to ask for a second date . Quote Link to comment
