Did you win in a category? I'm now going through my stash. Have found several that I thought I didn't have like a 1/48 Viking, Intruder, Douglas, Liberator, Black Widow, Flying Fortress. I forgot all about these! So nobody built the 1/72 Millenium Falcon? Would have loved to see that one.

Maybe they're still perfecting the painting on the falcon? Or is it because IPMS goes for accuracy of detailing that's why most kits exhibited are those of real things from which realistic details can be based on?

 

Anyway Doc, there's always next year. Great pictures, Duff Beer!

duff beer baka nakunan mo ng pics yung mga clipper ships? post mo naman. sana meron.

 

yun sana ang babalikan ko eh. when I went there natsambahan ko lang na meron pala exhibit but di ko dala digicam ko.

Last time nasa 3rd level di ba? I remember yung highlight ng exhibit was this monstrous WWII aircraft carrier. Galing nun!

 

Meron din mga sci-fi at that time. Yung ulo ni Terminator na kita yung metallic skull niya. Umiilaw pa yung mata.

And one x-wing na 1/72 ata.

I remember that one! I think it was the escort carrier 'Gambier Bay' in 1/72. I thought that was crazy but someday a whole group of crazy people will probably do the USS Enterprise in 1/72. I also remember that Tamiya and Trumpeter had advance samples of their soon to be released kits on display. Did they also do the same thing this year?

nudude77, its dc cybershot na 3.3 megapix lang. i don't use flash during the shot, kaya hindi ganung ka sharp yung mga ibang pic. and some of the shot taken by my 8 yrs old son.

hi doc, its 1/48 scale "gambier bay" aircraft carrier not 1/72 scale, i think 80% palang complete ang gambier bay. wala pa kasing mga railings at mga figures.

 

i think only trumpeter has a test shot for thier incoming release, WWII armor and aircraft.
