1983
manual transmission in Manila seems to be an impracticality...but then again, that's me.... Quote Link to comment

Rushman13
Used to think M/T is impractical for Manila - but for the most part it's ok as long as you avoid heavy traffic situations Quote Link to comment
jimfigs
kung expected long drive with lotsa traffic, automatic. kung everyday driving, manual para tipid sa gas. Quote Link to comment
TheGeneral
when i drive... i feel the rev... the peak sound that tells you when to shift... feel the rush of power when you release the clutch... down a curve at 100... tap the brake once... steer then countersteer... shift 2 gears down... floor the gas... feel the drift... the engine & i feel and act as one. drive an automatic? why deprive yourself the skills of being a REAL driver? that's just like riding a train. you can't call yourself a driver. :glare: but of course, this is just my personal view. :hypocritesmiley: Quote Link to comment

asagi
automatic, ayoko na mag manual I agree. With all the traffic, it is so hard to ignore the convenience of automatics. Quote Link to comment

tibats999
i've been driving a Lancer with Invecs II sports mode.. you get the ease of an automatic with the control of manual transmission when you need it.. but with the power, you still get more with the manual, if it's of the same engine displacement i guess. RC-F
Matic. Sa traffic dito sa Metro Manila, malaking hassle talaga ang tumapak at mag-timpla ng clutch. Lalo na pag bumper-to-bumper ang traffic. Quote Link to comment
tam2
automatic makes driving less stressful. Quote Link to comment
