courtesanhunter
Duel of Fate
not really sensitive. but they are biologically prone to higher blood pressure and more rapid hormone changes. kaya ambilis magalet or magreact. kaya din mas subject to depression. not to mention mas madami stigma for being fat ang natatanggap on an hourly basis. not just sa looks dept, but even sa simpleng nadadama nila yung judgement na di makaakyat ng hagdan or di makasingit sa upuan ng jeep, etc. Quote Link to comment

vrij
Because society has discriminated against them too much. Everyone has the right to be happy with their own skin and care not of other's opinions. Quote Link to comment
abduljackolsalsalani
The topic of fat people and sensitivity is a complex and sensitive issue, as it touches on many different aspects of our society, including culture, health, and self-esteem. One of the most important things to understand is that there is a great deal of stigma and discrimination associated with being fat. Society places pressure on individuals to conform to certain standards. Thinness is often equated with beauty and success, leaving those who do not fit into this narrow definition feeling ostracized and ashamed. This leads to a sense of alienation and feelings of worthlessness for those who struggle with weight issues. Another factor that contributes to the sensitivity surrounding overweight or individuals is discrimination by others. Fat shaming and body shaming are still all too common in our society, and the effects of this type of discrimination can be devastating. Fat people face discrimination in the workplace and in social settings. This leads to a sense of isolation which make it difficult for individuals to seek the help they need to achieve their health goals. This can be observed in the primetime variety show of my hated showbiz personalities (TVJ and VG). Remember of Vice Ganda’s joke on Jessica Soho. This can also be manifested in many different ways, other than negative comments but also attitudes from others to most especially in difficulties accessing transportation. Taxis or jeepneys usually avoid picking up fat people. Lastly, it is also important to recognize that being fat can have significant health implications. Imagine that the person might have a multitude of illnesses from heart disease, diabetes, and other chronic conditions. As such, it is important to approach discussions of weight and health in a compassionate and non-judgmental way, focusing on promoting healthy behaviors rather than shaming or blaming individuals for their weight. The key to addressing this issues surrounding fat people and sensitivity is to promote empathy and understanding. By taking the time to listening and acknowledging their struggles, we can work together to create a more accepting and inclusive society that values all body types. At the same time, we must also work to promote healthy behaviors and lifestyles for all individuals, regardless of their size or shape. By doing so, we can reduce the stigma associated with being overweight while also promoting better health outcomes for all. Quote Link to comment
