kanski
The roundabouts gave it away. Pag nag papalagay ng gas, it would be prudent to just shut your engine. As a rule, pagnakahinto ka, dapat naka Neutral ang sasakyan mo tapos naka brake. Pag matagal kang nakahinto (as in naka park ka na or even during a long red light), use your handbrake. Pagsandali ka lang nakahinto (like in stop and go traffic), just use your foot brake. Quote Link to comment

kanski
I'm assuming you meant braking. And as far as I know, walang clutch-braking. Pero yung engine-braking, meron. This is how it goes: you down shift and let your engine rev harder, making it it forcibly go slower (parang nag bre-brake ang effect). This is beneficial when you go down a steep slope of a road so that you don't overwork your brakes. However, with the technology of modern brakes now-a-days, engine-braking isn't required anymore. Lalakas lang ang fuel consumption mo. Quote Link to comment
niceNslow.2
clutch driving pala yun. so nowadays hindi na advisable yung engine-braking? Quote Link to comment
pinoymuffdiver
*use filtered/purified water, its cleaner than tap water*coolant does not "cool"the water, it increases the boiling temp and has anti-rust properties*install an aux fan if you do not already have one, this is helpful during traffic Quote Link to comment
