Hacking, Cracking?

Recommended Posts

You don't have to have programming know-how to be able to get someone's email password. You can simply phish the victim. It actually is pretty effective and it's a favorite tool amongst the criminal underground to obtain people's credit card, social security, etc.

As far as cracking porn websites go, you can use Access Diver to brute force yourself in. It has worked for me :)

you need to have logical thinking... logical thinking is the basic of programming... and hacking a program requires the programming knowledge... you cannot reverse engineer something that you cannot understand on its basic look...

but if you'll go to social engineering such as Phishing, this is a hack on the human brain, fooling somebody to get something from him. not the program or system you are hacking.... meaning , if you cannot HACK the SYSTEM you HACK the USER.. you are IN!

ang totoo, marami namang paraan para magmukang 'pogi' ka aside sa pagiging hacker o pagmention ng elite terminologies ;)

ewan ko lang, pero kung profit ang habol mo, profitable talaga ang hacking. pero the fact na dito ka nagtatanong about hacking? youre in the wrong place. you should hang out in ircnet, freenode, efnet. what motivates you will define how much you will achieve.

pogi ba ang hackers? ung mga media whore siguro oo... :D if you heard about the GMA website hack way back ages.. that explains the media whores..

the longer password you have the longer time to crack even on dictionary attack... and put a character digit combination... :D like - one1two2three3four4five5six6 <-- this password is hard to crack by password cracker but using your own way to make simple work comlicate will do the trick ... 123456 is a common password but putting the word together with it makes it harder to guess of crack :)

Just a note, DON'T use "one1two2three3four4five5six6" as a password, pwlists often have that listed.

i dont think this is a common password that they put on a list... first of all i used it as an example to give the idea of encrypting a common password. 2nd a 29 character password is not a basic password on a list. 29 char password is hardly use....

I'm telling you. That's in one of the PW lists that I use. Why do you think I save so much money on pr0n??

well, the good hackers dont announce themselves. :) but here is a tip, brute forcing stuff like friendster is for kids.the pros go for IC :)

hmm... very well said sir ryuji. better on securityfocus rather than packetstorm right? how bout vulnerability assessment and real world penetration testing? does it count =)

well as i always says in every presentation: "there is no patch -p0 for human stupidity..."
