kanto-terrorist
one thing about MJ is that he's obsessed, very very obsessed on winning, which might explain his gambling problems. he want to kick the ass of anyone he sees. He's a very unforgiving assasin. If he's an ancient emperor in asia, he's Ghengkis Khan. Bloodthirsty. Hes always the first one in the gym during practice and the last one to left. I bet he's even practicing even in his home or visualising every movemnet he will do before sleep. He sets an example of how a professional should be. Perfectionist, uncompromising, bad ass.... countrystyle
Just my thoughts. Clearly Jordan has an attitude (an understatement), but its probably a pretty good insight into why he is as good as he is. Its that whole mindset beneath the skills that made him who he is, and its probably one of the few paths to that level of dominance in any field of sport. exactly. jordan is the ultimate competitor and everyone he dissed in his speech are his motivation to get better and be the best. if he doesn't have that kind of attitude then he wouldn't be the player he was, one of the best athletes of all time. RED2018
He's boorish alright...but that's just part and parcel of his great totality as the ultimate athlete, competitor, and lover of the sports. He just hates to lose...and worked his butt out to excel, even moved heaven and earth to rebut non-believers... Quote Link to comment

sxray
Michael Jordan is indeed the greatest player to ever play the game. His Airness was the best and most complete package both offensively and defensively. There was no weakness in his game. I even got to watch him play in person during the NBA Finals in both 1991 and 1992. In 1991 I watched in awe when he switched hands in mid-air to avoid defenders on the blocks during the second game of the Finals and in 1992 I watched the Bulls comeback from a big deficit to close it out in game 6 of the Finals for back to back Championships. That was the start of a dynasty. Quote Link to comment
