ENGLISH... Besides Filipinon language is really a Tagalog language. That is the reason Cebuanos are not keen of using it. Moreover, according to them, there are more Filipinos speak Cebuano language than Tagalog. Para walang gulo English na lang. By the way, i'm not a cebuano.

Filipino.. I like writing in Filipino before.. It was my medium in writing poetries and short stories.. I only learned to appreciate the English language when I got older..

When I am in Cebu or Davao, I usually prefer English. Filipino is usually equated to Tagalog but in reality Filipinos have many dialects. However , whenever I am with non Tagalog speaking people who do not speak English in spite the fact that they know that I do not speak their dialect, I feel a high sense of being alienated and being stabbed at the back.

Masmahaba yun Filipino pag sinulat. Pero mas gusto ko gamitin Filipino kaysa Ingles. Kaya kong gamitin yun parehong wika ng maayos ngutin mas mahal ko ang wikang Filipino kase nasa Pilipinas tayo, pag nasa US or UK tayo.. malamag Ingles kaso nasa Pilipinas tayo.

 

I have higher grade in Filipino compared to English.

 

Filipino ang wika para malinaw sa lahat.

Although I excelled both subjects, passing them with flying colors, English is still my highest-graded subject.

That's because my family brought me up speaking perfect English everyday. No doubt about that.
