kuto_and_friends

Lord Superb
ever since i started schooling at the age of seven, i knew that i have the affinity for language, particulary the English language. this does not mean, though, that i am conversant in english; rather, my gift is in writing. in my spare time i write essays, film reviews, short stories and others. recently, i tried my hands in writing a novel, a feat that i would like to accomplish soon. the tagalog subjects i had at school just didn't interest me, partly because the language itself is not that complex to master, and partly because i was influenced by my mother who was an english teacher in a computer college. Lord Superb
besides, it is more challenging and rewarding to learn a skill that you are not used to. i was raised to speak tagalog; therefore, the challenge was to master another language, without losing my filipino heritage. Quote Link to comment
