my friends always stay at either Discovery Suites or Holiday Inn Galleria.

 

Astoria's good too, albeit a bit pricey, i think, and it's nearer shaw blvd than ortigas.

Stayed at Crowne Plaza for 3 nights recently. And I must say, they are still a good hotel. Direct access to Robinson's mall despite the ensuing storm outside relieved me of boredom during my free time.

I love Shangri-la...daanan ko yan tuwing pumupunta ng office...walang pake yung mga tao dun kahit daan ka lang nakasmile parin sila sayo at ang bango-bango kahit sa lobby ka lang. at eto pa ha...madami chicks tumatambay dun sa lobby, i think mga escort yun...di confirmed pero on the looks of it parang di naman sila guests.

update naman, yung long stay like 10 - 15 days or more na stay, saan ba value for money, mas maganda kung free breakfast plus point na yung pool and gym

Old favorite is the club lounge at crowne plaza. Love nests are holiday inn, malayan plaza and discovery suites.

Tried Discovery Suites before......the place is nice, ambience is cozy, food is great and very near to Megamall.

 

But be ready to cough out a lot of money. That's the only drawback.

There's this pedestrian- friendly community near the area that provides hotel- inspired concierge services, which I'm sure, isn't a waste of anyone's buck. Besides, hotels nowadays, since deemed part of the international chain, holds a LOT of accommodations, so sometimes, it's much better to steer away with that kind of setup and maybe, spend your vacation or just a night in either a condominium or a villa.

Well, that depends too on how long you will be staying in a particular place. 'Di lang preference/ liking ang dapat isaalang- alang dito. If you're having a one or two day off, then a hotel is advisable, but with, say 3 weeks or up to a month, then think further. A condotel, a condominium in lease, or even a villa can help you, not only save, but also, enjoy and relax more.
