d3ckard Posted August 29, 2006 Share Posted August 29, 2006 it's 10"x6"x6". that's a good idea! are cichlids hard to maintain? coz with bettas you don't need aerators. is it the same for cichlids? where do you get boracay sand? thanks man! a 10"X6"X6" tank is only 1.5 gallons way too small for even the smallest of dwarf cichlids. even the smallest of cichlids would assert itself and stake out a territory - resulting in bullying and eventual death for the weaker fishes. i suggest you read up on the species before plunging into it... there are lots of resources available in the internet about cichlids. better safe than sorry HTH Quote Link to comment

Sorry for the late reply tol, tnx for the offer..20 gallons tol, I still have all the fishes 7 of them an lalaki na nga sila, kasama pala dun ung dragonfish..It has an aerator, white na maliliit na pebbles(parang sand yung liit nya) and may kahoy sa gitna na design..gusto ko sanang mag mukhang "nature type" ung aquaruim yung parang sa river talaga (hehehe I hope Im making sense) ,..any suggestions will do!..tnx tol!...anyway do you think I should upgrade may tank? Sa ngaun kse pellets pa pakain ko sa kanya. Kelan ko siya pwede bigyan ng live feeds? Saka gaano ba dapat kadami ipapakain ko sa kanya? Di ko kase alam kng bitin o sobra pellets na binibigay ko.
