You got any tips on how to take care of them? We have a 75 Gallons tank. Is it normal for them to stack up in one corner of the tank and not swim around? Quote Link to comment

Is it normal for them to stack up in one corner of the tank and not swim around?<{POST_SNAPBACK}>Hello there, Koi have many different breeds or species. Mostly they are kept in ponds seldom in tanks, they can grow as big as your 75 gallons, but if you kept them in 75 gallons babansot lang.Koi like to swin around parang excersie nila. Mas maganda tignan yung koi sa pond because of their color features. THere is a shop in cartimar who is selling japanese koi and other one in magallanes. Best quality, preview lang around 5 inch of japanese koi cost around 2 to 3 k na. Mahal but maganda pag lumaki na Enjoy....... Quote Link to comment
butete12
astig toh.. meron ba kayo alam nag aalaga ng super worms? parang gusto ko pasukin tong business na toh and mag supply sa mga petshop.. astig kasi ang gastos rin pag bili ng bili eh.. ganda ng mga pix nung mga isda nyo.. astig! alagang alaga ah!<{POST_SNAPBACK}> cartimar din meron nito bro e. kung trip mong mag culture ng super worms e ang alam ko e madali lang e. pero di ko pa nasusubukan Hello peeps, i'm (actually were) new in this thread but my wife and I has been into Aquarium Fish for a long time now. Used to have a Flower Horn but it died without any sign why after so many years. Now we just got ourselves a couple of butterfly kois. We were told they were bred for the tank, does anyone know if its true? Anyone have tips for us on how to take care of them? do they need special treatment or something, feeding etc.<{POST_SNAPBACK}> ang alam ko d2 e hindi ata pwdng i breed ito sa tank e . sa pond lang. ang hindi ko alam e kung paano malalaman ang babae sa lalake pagdating sa koi and goldfish. parang pogi din sila e. walang physical information para malaman kung lalake or babae. good water chem. good food, good owner= good fish bro BiCZ. Guys enjoy............ Quote Link to comment

I have read a thread here the largest arowan sa may meralco daw naka display, di ko pa nakikita, but since teenager I have travel to taiwan, in the one of the major city (Kaoshiung) near the golden Pavillion there is a display of fresh water aquarium. They price possesion a 15feet of arowana like preserve already and some live ones dont know kung meron ngayon.Sa Malaysia naman kinakain yung arowana matinik lang, it was been featured in Che Che Lazaro profile(correct me if i am wrong)It depends on how you will take care of your arowan, kung papalakihin mo or pababansot mo its up to you. Mostly in malaysia they kept it in fish ponds.Arowan lives in murky waters, sa atin lang yung gingaw yung malinis na tubig.Try to browse a website ng arowan , they have guidelines for beginners and breeders as well.\ Happy breeding Quote Link to comment

The guys at Bio Research told us that Butterfly Koi's are bred for the Tank, Thats the reason why they got fins like the tetra species. They really don't get big like the Koi's for the ponds.
