This fish when bought while still young and raised in the philipines would definitely make your business profitable as this fish is very highly fought in Malaysia and Singapore as it is always eaten on Chinese Restos as well as special occassions. Minimum orders and if raised properly would more or less give you back - $196k USD with the Current market price - dats what you can get back annualy. (converted - P10million pesos)

maybe you can try what zookeepers give to captive flamingoes to keep their pink color, though I can't remember what they substitute...

i have big fish.. very expensive fish.. its a guppy..

I have 2 tanks...

 

One is a 20+ gallon tank where I keep my goldfishes, black moors, red caps, pearl scales & lion heads...  :hypocritesmiley:

 

The other is a 50+ gallon tank where I keep 2 silver arowanas (about 2ft long) & 2 red piranhas...  :cool:

hahaha i used to have 6 piranhas.. but no matter how much i feed them daily! i just couldnt find a way to make them stop eating each other. .... so its either that the 2 arowanas are now dead! or the person above mistook his pacu's for piranhas.

by the way could someone enlighten me on why the flowern horn is such a big deal?

i personally think they look too artificial....apologies to all the flowerhorn fanatics.

flower horn just like arowana are considered by chinese to lucky charms..a fish like flowerhorn shows how much care the owner gives the fish..unlike some which only grows,flowerhorn grows humps on its head and changes color , so the more care you gave the fish the more beautiful it will look.and just like arowana,you can feed it with spiders,cockcroaches,flies, worms and even small mice depending on the fish size...saya nun di ba...
