bubuy
is Team Balasa actually unloading players and has actually raised the white flag? sana naman hindi.. Quote Link to comment
agentjackbauer
ouch! o cia, tama na commish... heheh.. commish KG+wally for marion+mike james/baron davis?<{POST_SNAPBACK}> Hmm... perhaps if you make it KG/Pierce or KG/Artest for Marion/James (plus a filler if necessary) we could have a deal. I know, I tend to overvalue Marion but with averages of 21.5 pts, 11.9 rebs, 51.3 fg%, 1.9 steals, 1.1 3s and 2 blocks plus only 1.5 TOs, the guy is indeed a fantasy stud. Darn, I think I just convinced myself not to trade him, haha:-) Seriously, lets cook something up. Randolph plus ___ for either Pierce or Artest? Quote Link to comment
agentjackbauer
is Team Balasa actually unloading players and has actually raised the white flag? sana naman hindi.. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Sana hindi. I would really love for him to speak up and explain the reason for the trades. Otherwise, I just might be forced to get them players, put them back on his team and lock his team up for the rest of the season. That, of course, is a last resort and one I'd do only with much hesitation. Quote Link to comment
agentjackbauer
sabagay, i wont drop amare till the last day.. lucky charm na lang silbi nya.. :boo:when the NBA playoffs start, Yahoo playoffs has ended already.. tama ba commish? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Spot on bro. :thumbsupsmiley: Quote Link to comment
gift_of_game
some trades are just skewed so bad, it's tough to appreciate their significance. I'm sorry for being a jack-ass for voting against some of the trades but really, there's more than enough time to make for lost ground and dropping guys like crazy just isn't the smartest thing to do right now. gift_of_game
I still don't get the Wade trade. Sure, he tends to bog down and sit on the shelf `coz he goes all out for Miami but he's still on the top 10 list regardless. Who else can get you those numbers---pts, assists, freebies, stls, blks, decent fg%--- night in and night out? Not a lot, to be sure. It just doesn't add up. Hinrich is nowhere near that level and Curry doesn't really get as much floor time on LB's squad. The only game they can beat DWade is in a 3 legged race with Wade and Shaq against Hinrich and Curry. gwapogi
some trades are just skewed so bad, it's tough to appreciate their significance. I'm sorry for being a jack-ass for voting against some of the trades but really, there's more than enough time to make for lost ground and dropping guys like crazy just isn't the smartest thing to do right now.<{POST_SNAPBACK}> CORRECT! ...i mean, most of us guys here have worked damn hard to squeeze out talent and HELP in the FA pool (even i have to dig DEEP for robert swift)... yet at some point, talent being given away that easy doesn't really make sense for a fantasy league that is as competitive as ours... ...yes, my bad for trying to capitalize on the situation on hand (the lafrentz deal) but then again, it is too tempting, right? ...but still, i feel guilt and shame for doing so... i mean, winning with pieces taken that easy ain't gonna mean as much as playing and winning the right way, isn't it... ...at least, and if possible, i suggest that a dispersal draft be done... if yahoo can't do it, then we can perhaps agree on a method wherein it will be done manually *** perhaps team olats can waive all his players and sign guys like jackie butler or rick brunson and we, active GM's, can have a gentleman's agreement on who will take who and when and what order... i dunno if it's feasible, but that's just me, and 'tis my 1st time being on a fantasy league *** ...still, i dunno wuz he thinkin' but team olats has got some juice left in his team's tank... i mean, last week, he still gave gave me a competitive 7-4 match-up, right now he leads 7th seeded Chicken Nuggets by 6-4, and he's just a couple of winning weeks away from the 6th spot... ...heck, he's got the best FA pick-ups as of late with guys like rafer alston, juwan howard, earl boykins, jalen rose, tony battie - dude, he even got a steal from the finley / deron trade... ...it's still too early to call it quits, man... ...as g_o_g have mention... well... yes, i can be a jack-ass also at times (the AK / melo early season deal), but look, AK has been traded for the 4th time in our league now, and RIP CITY (who has melo), is way up in the standings and is seated good... ...all is fair in love and war, right :thumbsupsmiley: Quote Link to comment
