manila Peninsula serves a very good breakfast and dessert as well

on sunday mornings i love going to "something fishy" at eastwood libis..their eat-all-you-can breakfast buffet starts from 12mn until 10am..food is good and very cheap at Php80/head plus 12% VAT..which makes it around Php 89/per head..not bad, with no service charge..the usual plain or fried rice, sausage and eggs, adobo, daing, pancakes, tocino,tapa, lumpia, i think they have different pastas pa yata ...then on the other table there's the gotto, hot soup and native kakan-ins...its a 20-30min drive from where i live, but the travels worth it esp if your a heavy breakfast eater

pancake house at gbelt 3 is a good place to have breakfast din on a sunday, plus its near the gbelt church, so you can just attend the early morning mass before or after you have your breakfast.

I used to had breakfast sa Lola Elys in Bambang. Though the last time i was there was couple of years ago and mind you, the food is superb and its cheap. Jonas Pares House in Retiro is also worth mentioning.

have you guys tried the PUSO ( its rice cooked inside coconut or palm leaves shapes like a pyramid) the the small longanisa on a stick. I had it when I was in cebu, i think they sell it along the seaports for travellers. I was on my way to bohol

back in the day.... late 80s and early 90s... GOODDAH.... I miss that place... this is the only place I know that people from all walks of life come together and eat great food!!!!! :thumbsupsmiley:

yeah i remember Goddah, food there was great and prices were reasonable. :cool:

 

saw a new Goddah in Buendia near the corner of South Super Highway, haven't tried it though.

 

Anyone know the location of other branches of Goddah? thanks :mtc:
