Saitama88
^ Interesting.... how to buy and sell stocks? Sino stock broker niyo? Basics naman dyan.... kung paano mag buy pwede ba cash, credit card or check? And then procedure for selling stock? Goodluck. Quote Link to comment
HunkDavao
^ Interesting.... how to buy and sell stocks? Sino stock broker niyo? Basics naman dyan.... kung paano mag buy pwede ba cash, credit card or check? And then procedure for selling stock? I have a BDO Nomura.. it's easy to open one as long as you have a BDO Online account existing. If no BDO, open a savings account sa SM, lahat ng SM may BDO branch. Once you have a BDO Online Account, you can go to BDO Nomura site, login using your BDO Online. Then you need to fill up some online form. 1 day transaction lang lahat to OK na. Minimum amount to start is 5k. pero that's not ideal. I suggest deposit 20k.. better 100k if you have it. THEN.. don't buy anything agad. DECIDE first if you want to invest (long term)? or you want to trade (short term)? if gusto mo talaga mag-laro ng stocks, trading yun. So eto yung you will speculate what Stock/Company will appreciate in price in the short period like 1-3months. example: yung gf ko binili ko ng 200 units ng URC at 163 yung pera nya mga 2 weeks ago. last Friday, may mga buyers at 170 na. So binenta namin.. 7pesos income per share... x 200... 1400 in 14 days. Ngayon, ang URC balik na sa 164. So, Speculation talaga.. and monitoring.. Don't buy anything agad dahil magaganda articles sa news. Check mo muna ano price history rin kasi baka the stock is at it's High Peak like EAST WEST Bank now... its at 25.. historical highest price to. You dont buy when a stock is HIGH (unless you speculate na it will go higher pa in the next 6 months) Quote Link to comment
HunkDavao
isa pang example ng mabilisang pera EAGLE Cement. nag IPO (Initial Public Offering) today. Nag start sa 15 ang price nito, marami agad nagpareserve weeks before pa. Millions of shares .. 930 open ang market, 15peso.. dahan dahan umakyat .. 15.1 , 15.2 , until nag 16 around 1030am ! yung mga EXPERT, benta na agad at 16.. if may 1mil shares sila, they just earned 1Million (1peso x 1 mil) in a span of 90 minutes.. ngayon 1pm, EAGLE is at 15.4 , bumagsak na.. so yung nag BUY at 16, they just lost 600k if they bought 1 mil shares. tingnan natin what will happen ngayong hapon. will EAGLE go back sa opening price na 15? or lower? rontan2014
Sayang hindi ko inabulin yung LSI offer nila but will buy via my broker: 2TradeAsia. I like this broker, very fast execution & walang aberya. At 15.4, people who bought already may reload. Ako bibili pa lang. Long term play. Quote Link to comment
HunkDavao
Okay cge I'll try to apply BDO online banking. Meron naman akong ATM and savings account passbook sa BDO. So, if you buy stock doon sa nomura bdo website automatic debit sa atm or your savings account passbook ung amount? and then pag mag sell anytime ba basta nakita mo at that particular time of the day na tumaas na and you are willing to sell it na..... tapos automatic credit back to your ATM or savings account passbook? Parang ung BDO Nomura site na ung stockbroker mo? YES, Nomura is the Brokerage firm mo. Previously, PCIB Security to sila, Nomura Japan bought it yata. NO, its not automatic debit/credit. What you do is DEPOSIT money to your NOMURA account using the Deposit menu. Your deposited/transferred money will be ready for trading the next banking day. Whey you want to sell your stocks and withdraw the money, there's a Nomura menu again for it. After 1 day, it will reflect na sa BDO mo. User friendly ang Nomura interface. Real time update sa prices. I have ColFinancial too. Happy Trading. Quote Link to comment

And the dividends! at 15 per unit, they pay out around 10? Well in the long run, if Digong's Build Build Build projects push through, lahat ng Cement Companies (Cemex,Eagle,Holcim) will earn money. you101
Cge ma try nga sounds interesting than playing baccarat lol... Can you buy and sell anytime of the day? I understand PSE starts around 9am and ends 3:30pm. Normally do you buy and sell stocks immediately i mean a day or a week perhaps? or meron din naman hold on to the stocks and sell it after a month or even a year? Is there a right strategy to this? Furthermore, do you get tips on which stocks to buy? Meron kasi ako UITF equity fund and I know naka invest sa stocks and that's about it hindi ko na pinapaki alaman.... wherein dito sa pse eh I think you have to monitor it everyday. Try open a first metro or bdo nomura account. These two online brokerage don't have maintaining balance if you have account with the bank. For me if newbie talaga n may pera talaga, use both traditional and online broker. Bigger money s traditional and smaller with online. This is just to get a feel of it. Once comfortable and you are really interested and have time, use the online e broker more for lower commissions. Quote Link to comment
HunkDavao
may nakikita pa ako na candle stick graph tapos ginuguhitan nila naging butterfly or balloon shape parang trending graph ba? I cannot understand.... balik na lang ako sa baccarat kahit hindi ko maintindihan ang baccarat trends eh mabilis lang tumaya., hehe yung Graphs include the price history, and mga volume traded , and other stuff. yes trending graph yun, sa isang tingin, makita mo if nasa low point ang stock today compared sa whole year, etc.. medyo complicated lang dahil marami ka titingnan na factors when buying a stock to make it more profitable in the end. eto sample Tip.. bagsak ang SHELL ngayon, back to its original IPO price around 166. this went up to 180 at one point. So, when you look at it, is SHELL a good brand? will it increase its profits as a company? with the planned excise tax sa oil, will SHELL also earn on it? OR is SHELL too expensive as compared to PETRON (11.2) and PHOENIX (9.9)? If there is a good time to buy SHELL, its now.. Quote Link to comment

you101
Ung traditional broker.... siya na ba bahala kung saan stocks niya invest money mo? or ikaw pa rin masusunod? kasi impression ko sa mga traditional broker na they are well trained and ung mga clients niya mga mayayaman na hidni naman marunong sa stocks. Depende s arrangement nyo. Best if he give options on how to execute and you still give instructions. About tips, Dami libre tips s Twitter. Sa Twitter just know which are the more credible ones. Meron din subscription based tips. Pero try Twitter muna to have an idea about them. Quote Link to comment
Thelibrarian101
Try out Investagrams for a mock account. You will start with 100k fake credits and the stock movement follows the PSEI movement. You'll get a good feel of things and you get to test out concepts. Just a tip, doing and playing in the stock market entails a ton of reading. Be ready if you're serious. 1 Quote Link to comment
wek1012
go to those free seminar sessions by the online brokerages. basic is the fundamental and technical analysis. two separate sessions un. if you would be interested in those charts. take technical analysis. very good starter ung seminar from Col conducted by Juannis barredo. fundamental I also attended but in real life didn't help me in my investments. you get those fundamental reports from the brokerages but I only read them occasionally didn't help in my trading before. pang long term investing ung fundamentals Quote Link to comment
wek1012
traditional broker get someone who is accessible. nice also if located near you so you may could drop by or have coffee for some chat or consultation. also important is trustworthy. I think process is ask around and chat with several first. I didn't undergo that process as I just got the broker from my dad. Edited May 31, 2017 by wek1012 Quote Link to comment
