Alam ko laging may discount ang Audiophile basta lagpas 10k ang purchase mo. Iyong binili kong RG dapat 17k siya. Sinamahan ko pa ng padded gig bag na Ibanez din. Ang singil sa akin aroung 16,200 lang. Sa Audiophile ng Rob Pioneer iyan ha. Sabi naman sa akin all branches ganyan sila.

OK naman, mas mukhang showroom iyong store nila kesa Audiophile SM North. Mas malaki at mas maliwanag. Hindi din inaalikabok iyong mga display nila. Although medyo masungit iyong mga saleslady/salesman nila(pero mas masungit pa din mga tao sa Perfect B!tch). Closing na din kasi kapag bumibisita ako. Pero kung matigas ang mukha mo kagaya ko, pwede ka mag sound check. Kahit iyong mamahalin na Vox AC30 nila sinubukan ko kahit pick lang binili ko hehehe.

 

Here's a tip, when you have cash and you see something you want, buy na agad, tapos regret later kung hindi ka masaya. Madaling ibenta ang Ibanez, lalo na kung may resibo ka. Hope you find your RG. Sila na din bahala sa set up ng gitara mo, may extra charge nga lang pero ok na din.

Went a bit "minimalist" as 3 pedals ngayon buhay na ako. Shredhead > 3in1 pedal (DOD clone/Plexitone/Mosfetboost) > Digitech RV7.
So far it works mapa-metal or other music na tinutugtog ko.

 

As for the guitars I use. LTD EC50, FV Stevens 7string, 90' Fernandes Super Strat, BC Rich NJ Series V, Yamaha F310(natatangi kong acoustic)

Right now I'm using an 80s Burny LP and a Tokai Firebird. Used to have a Gibson Flying V and an LTD EC-50 but I sold it just recently due to some.. financial troubles.

 

Board is kinda big and planning on downsizing. It contains a CAE line driver, cantrell wah, korg Dt-10, a catalinbread DLS clone, mxr dynacomp, mxr phase 90, fulltone fd2, boss ce-5, and a boss dd-20.

 

Used to have 2 amps as well. Now, its just the Peavey Delta Blues.

Sir hindi naman minimalist iyan hehe. Ang minimalist guitar>cable>amp hehehe. Peace lang. No intentions so offend you.

 

Although recently, I have finally convinced myself to use distortion on the clean channel of my amp hehehe. Sounds so sweet, no wonder Stevie Ray Vaughan did it a lot. Ang set up ko kasi madalas high gain channel(Marshall/Mesa Boogie/Peavey)>distortion/overdrive(TS-9/Big Muff/Fuzz Face/DS-1)>reverb.

Depende sa tugtugan nio, sir. But personally, I'd take the SG. But that's because low action guitars don't interest me, like Ibanez. They're meant for shredding kase. Most of them. Di ko feel, and masyadong manipis tunog para sakin. Best way for you is to test both guitars. Libre naman yun. So you'd know which would fit your music better.

May mga magagandang LTD din sa Lyric.

 

Alternative:

Epiphone Les Paul sa Crescendo, ganda ng pick ups niya kahit budget model kinuha mo at kahit practice amp lang gamit mo.

Ibanez Artcore series, very versatile kasi semi-hollow siya. Pwede ka nang tumugtog ng Foo Fighters.

Pwede na sa beginner yung mga nasa music store or kung malapit ka sa old sta mesa madami dun na mga nasa 1500. Magaaral pa lang naman, then palitan mo muna yung strings ng nylon para medyo makapagadjust ka mas maganda nga lang tunog ng steel strings kaso masakit lang siya.

Gio sana balak ko, yun yung dati hinihiram ko, kaso daming negative reviews pwede dw to pag nagsisimula ka pa lang. Yes Sir mas Ok yung RG series may sale nga ang Audiophile, eh nag sale din si Lyric kaya doon na lang ako bumili ng Ltd eclipse

 

Pero yung 1 choice na gitara sana bilhin ko yung Ephiphone LP.
