What I know is that the ethanol being used is still imported though we have alcohol distillers around who are manufacturing it but mainly for liquor and medicinal usage. The ethanol for fuel has to meet the standards based on the World Wide Fuel Charter for it to be safe for vehicle usage. I surmise the ethanol Seaoil is using meets this standards. Also, based on the WWFC, a blend of up to 10% ethanol in gasoline is acceptable (assuming the ethanol on its own meets the standards for fuel as well) and will not even void the warranty of your car if something goes wrong with its usage. Check out the automobile manufacturers who have signed up the charter to see if your car can use a 10% ethanol blend. Quote Link to comment

don_cruzer
been testing all the gasolines lately, very unrealistic ang claims ng most brands.... i tried Petron XCS, mileage didn't improve pero gumanda takbo ng vtec ko, quiet at responsive, am sticking to this for the time being. Brennt
i always use shell unleaded or petron xtra unleadedsometimes i use seaoil pero kapag ginamit ko yun mas mura nga pero... there is a significant degradation in the accelating power...parang kinakapos siya kapag tinodo mo yung accelerator Quote Link to comment
S14
using shell unleaded has definitely impove mileage compare to petron. anyone has a feed back on the ethanol base fuel? heard not all sea oil has these and fuel octane is rated at 97 lang daw. Quote Link to comment
