If the purpose of going after someone who is taken is to make her your gf, I don't think so but I wouldn't mind a one-night stand with her especially if she's my type.

waaaayyy too many people in the world, especially in the philippines with the girl-guy ratio, to go after a girl who is in a relationship. 99% of the time, its not worth the trouble. Every relationship should have a good foundation, and one based on you trying to steal her away from someone else isnt the best foundation i think. thats just me

I don't know if we guys ever know that there's an unwritten code between us -- the one which has a tag "kaunting respeto lang." It is really in bad taste when we go after a damsel who is already hitched.

 

BUT, it's also our nature that we're predators, and damsels out there are prey. The more the difficulty, the more challenging.

 

The Filipino expression is so apt: "Kung ano yung bawal, yan pa ang masarap." (What is forbidden is all the more so yumyum.)

 

In principle, I won't go for those already taken. But, I must admit that, as I advance in age, I find them more appealing and attractive, not to mention, sexier.
