for clinical psyche/educ psyche - special education classes in one of the schools in manila.

 

for testing and measurement - our own school, administering psyche exams to applicants and new students.

Mine is at ABS-CBN Talent Center.

I've learned a lot from sleeping in a standing position while holding the clap board... yes, i was the one who shouts for "scene blah blah, take 1, action!", upto never sleep when you only got an hour left because most probably you won't be able to make it on tomorrow's shoot, where the call time usually is at around 4:30 in the morning, then you've finished preparing things at almost 5:30 am. I learned how to deal with actors and actresses na "papam-pam", minsan pa-cute ka lang...

you've got a fast-paced life in the production. You make the nights morning and make the morning a night.

Also, one thing I've learned... the Sangkalan Resto near the ABS, my Ninong co-owns that, so I usually went there with friends just to unwined

 

That there were also spies at each other's network (you know what I mean) the big networks are spying each other's programs and projects... that's top secret...

I NEVER HAD ANY ACTUAL OJTs. WHEN I STARTED, I STARTED AS A "WORKING SCHOLAR"

IN EFFECT, MY WORK DONE IS COMPENSATED BY FREE MATRICULATION AND MISCELLANEOUS FEES.

IN ADDITION, I HAD P1,200 ALLOWANCE PER MONTH (P600/PDAY), WHICH WAS ALREADY SIGNIFICANT AT THAT TIME.

 

I ONLY NOT HAD THE CHANCE TO GET COLLEGE EDUCATION FOR FREE, I HAD A MEAGER INCOME TO SUPPORT

MY FIRST AND SECOND CHILD/REN AT THAT TIME.

 

FOR THE MOST PART, I WORKED AS ASSISTANT LIBRARIAN AT THE FACULTY OF CIVIL LAW. DURING SEMESTRAL OR SUMMER BREAKS, I WOULD BE POSITIONED EITHER AT THE ACCOUNTING OFFICE OR THE OFFICE OF ACADEMIC AFFAIRS.

ABS-CBN. On the job training, pero grabe, we were like real production assistants there! I was able argue with other real PA's of the network, even ran after Mr. M to change the wrong script I gave! It was one heck of an experience, grabeng hirap! I was commuting back home at 2am most of the times!
