On The Job Training

A hotel along Roxas.

 

I had my OJT at the Marketing Dept and I was the first ever trainee- the manager did not know what to do with me! They made me sort through publications daily (around ten to fifteen of them, from magazines to newspapers) for PR on the hotel. That would normally take the entire morning. My afternoons were filled with cataloguing pictures and files. I'd be assigned the occasional jit to cover an event or a promo, and I got to be their model for one of their promo ads. They didnt pay me

 

We got Lunch, Merienda, Dinner and Breakfast for free so it was cool, plus the other OJTs were all great people and we all formed a special bond.

ngOjt me jan sa PLDT sa sampaloc..pasecret me ngaply jan cos i duno want my tito (VP for engineering ng PLDT) to know dt i'll be at there company...great job, dami itinuro sa akin ng mga tao dun technically tpos i got to hangout sa research team nila mostly schoolm8s ko!!! nataon pa mandin dt my design kami sa telephony, pgdesign ng telephone system in a certain city installation n everything, nakapagtanong-tanong me sa mga tao dun...all is well till d manager notice my family name..hehehe..hirap tlg itago n dey chek my resume n nakita the sa town adres nmn ng tito ko..nakarating sa tito k dt ngoojt me dun n pinagalitan me bt dw di me ngpasabi..pipol out der treat me parang my royalty..takot sa tito k kc...ngend n yung ojt ko n dami nmn me na22han..meron dun nung kinukuha ko certification ko n tinatarayan ako (bago kc) nung nalaman dt pamangkin me ng VP nila biglang bumait...hehehe..
