dungeonbaby
i did not pray for answers but could a stronger reminder have been given on this day of atonement? i think not. to atone i must pray. when i inexplicably lose something dear to me and have no recourse but to pray for small mercies - is that an answer? to atone i must repent. when i recognize myself in a stranger's words, and read all about my own tragic flaws, and am overcome by an overwhelming need to repent - is that an answer? to atone i give to charity. when a woman gets past the guards who would've stopped her, gets past the team who then direct her to me specifically...so i can listen disbelieving to her story, and with a sigh think myself a fool, but hand over what i have in my pocket - is that an answer?  to realize very late in the day that today of all days happens to be the day i should have prepared for with more care...that is an answer. not a favorable one, but an answer nonetheless.  Quote Link to comment

peterdgreat
I believe - God will always! No matter how bad a person is at one time since He unconditionally loves everyone...his creature... no end. His love transcends all of man's faults and defects. 5 Quote Link to comment
peterdgreat
God's love for His creatures is immeasurable and boundless and He knows His creatures are not endowed with complete knowledge as to know all the consequences of their acts. Thus at His appointed time He will answer everyone's prayers. 5 1 Quote Link to comment
