to answer the question, well, yes and no... no, kasi time comes na talagang bored ka na sa ginagawa mo, yes, dahil at least may trabaho ako and kumikita ako, at malaki ang sahod compared sa regular jobs....

i love this business, i've been in the industry for 5 years...

5 long but fruitful years, we were able to save and get married... we were also able to purchase a house just a few months ago...

mahirap, pero meron bang trabahong madali?

to all those in the business, keep up the good work... and ingat dahil medyo delikado lang yung oras ng pasok natin lalo na kung graveyard and sched... happy calling... :headsetsmiley: :headsetsmiley: :headsetsmiley:

honestly it so freaking boring...the only exciting thing is that when there is a new employee who is a hot chick na kaya pang bolahin hehehe......the only thing that is letting me keep this freaking boring job is the salary(i need poker money hehehe) and the idea that this wont be my career for life since i will be going abroad after 2 to 3 years hehehe..........hay i'd rather be a tuna fisherman(ala tuna cowboys sa discovery or national geographic channel ata) or a deep sea fisherman( ala perfect storm) or a cop sa US hehehe

well im in a bit of a dilemma here.... i work for a call center as an agent but my supervisors (tl and operations manager) wants me not to resign... i have a pending promotion as an intraday specialist for another account and they want me to pursue that instead of resigning.. another job is waiting for me as an IT Specialist/Helpdesk for a non-call center company. the training and experience ill be getting there is definitely worth it since I am an IT graduate and the nature of the job is what i want. the drawback here is the location of the workplace and of course the pay. if i pursue the IT job, its gonna be 16K only but its gonna be a dayjob full of IT experience I need. if i pursue the promotion as an intraday specialist for the call center i work for right now, i'll be getting more than 20K and the office is right beside our village... but when it comes to experience and nature of the job itself, its not something an IT-graduate would be proud of (at least for me). sigh... which one should i choose... hhmmmm :(

Depends on you sir...

If you think you can stay and be an intradya specialist, then do so. But the job is really hard i must tell you.

I do suggest you consider the IT job. It may not pay so well but you'll get the experience you need. If you think you can survive with the 16K you'll get, then go for it.

in terms of work i am happy with what i am doing but in terms of the company i am with...hmm that is another question. given the difficulty and hassle in finding a new job kinda scares me but given the opportunity..would resign in a snap. i guess being happy with work doesnt only mean you love your job but it involves the system and the organization you are working for. Hard to be in a company where bureaucracy is so high, favoritism and "padrino" system is event, a management team which you don't trust and lastly..transparency is not evident.

geee!!! i just have to hang on until such time I am able to move out and have a better company than the one i am in right now!

gurl, i understand how you feel. but i geuss the reality here is that, in any & every company there will always be things like that. as the saying goes, "same sh*t, different day." i guess it also applies to our work environments. it's the same work, same job description, same office politics, but in a different location.
