lalong walang mangyayari kung di siya magpapakita sa doctor! there could be problems brewing that are more serious than impotence.

 

but it is also possible na psychological (some sort of trauma).. or also, he might not be that into you anymore? sorry kung masakit, just running through the possibilities with you. pero dapat mo ring isipin kung nahihirapan lang siya pag ikaw ang kasama.

ok lang ang buko juice ( include mo na rin un laman) but be sure na fresh not the one in the plastic cups.... about its healing properties I'm not really sure about that (let's wait for what the other md's will say) but it will definitely help in increasing your fluid intake.

i agree.. never drink yung nasa cups na nauuso dati hehe..may mga chemicals daw na inaadd <hearsay> but well stick to natural na lng...im not knowledgeable as far as my reading is concerned regarding the therapeutic effects of buko juice for urinary tract infections..though the juice is high in potassium content and low in sodium...and also contains other essential electrolytes and minerals...theoretically high fluid intake is strongly adviced in cases of uti to help flush out the organisms..except if your hypertensive or had any kidney problems warranting fluid restriction.. pero pag healthy naman inom lng ng inom and refrain taking artificially prepared drinks like sodas or juices na tinitimpla...go natural and reap its benefits..

mga docs... any medicine that you can recommend for UTI... before going to the doctor.. kasi pag nag doctor na parang grabe na yun...

 

some suggested anti-biotics.. but what kind of antib... and yung meds na hindi na nire-require ng prescription parang over the counter lang.

this is a common problem among patients..esp males..hehe they go to the doctor rather late.. i suggest you still see your doctor sir i dont agree that you just visit the doc if its already complicated... unless you have a friend doc who adviced you on the meds....not all medications for uti are effective in every case.. thats why i encourage you to see your doc..its not merely just by giving you drugs but also the correlations regarding your case...like if the meds will still be effective to you..the safety and if you can take the drug...uti is not hard to treat if it is not complicated..in such improper medications taken that is not effective for the case may only contribute to resistance which may warrant stronger and more expensive meds...

There has been several studies on the use of buko juice in treating urinary diseases. But mostly it is related to dissolving urinary stones which may be a factor for having UTI. The reason buko juice is used as way to help treating UTI is because it promotes effective flushing of the urinary system due to the hydration you receive from it. The more fluid you take, the more frequent you urinate, the more you flush the system.

 

As to the question kung OK lang uminom ng buko juice "kahit walang laman ang tiyan sa umaga". The answer is OK lang. Buko juice is not acidic and does not significantly stimulate overproduction of gastric acid. Because of the good electrolyte content of buko juice, it is also recommended for patients with dehydration, loose bowel movement, etc.

 

But check out the cost efficiency of drinking liters of buko juice (30pesos per 350mL) in a week's time vs taking antibiotics at the same period of time. Baka mapa-mahal ka pa. Kasi, if your repeat urinalysis still shows presence of UTI, then you will be adviced by your doctor to take antibiotics. Afterwhich time, another urinalysis will be requested. So magkano na ang inabot mo sa treatment by this time?

 

The recommended brand of commercially prepared buko juice is 'Lipa Buko Juice". It has been subject to medical scrutiny as far as sterility and preparation is concerned. The innovator of the "bukolysis " technique in treating urinary stone is Dr. Macalalag and he uses this brand.

Having stones in the gallbladder per se is not a reason for an operation. I have had a good number of patients who have gallstones and did not undergo an operation. However, the risk for developing symptoms for an asymptomatic patient (such as your mom) is about 2 percent cumulative per year. If this is the case for your mom, watchful waiting can suffice.

 

On the other hand, if your mom is already symptomatic to begin with, the risk for recurrence of symptoms gets higher and the risk for complications are higher. In this case, surgery is recommended.

 

There are many other factors to consider but it might take too long to explain on this thread.

sakit na ata ng pinoy un, susubok muna na kung ano-anong herbal at over the counter medication pag hindi gumaling at malubha na at naghihingalo na,saka magpapakita sa doctor. Dami ko patient galing sa ina-advertise na iridology, gumastos ng libo-libo hindi naman gumaling. pagpunta sa akin-tumatawad pa sa consultation fee !!!! handa silang gumastos para sa herbal supplement pero ayaw gumastos para sa gamot talaga... tsk-tsk-tsk !

hehehe oo nga ganyan talaga sakit ng noypi..sa guys pa macho effect..hehe kaya pag consult na sa mga dr malubha na..at tama ka dun hehe tumatawad na sa mga fees etc.. pero kung sa mga alternative medicine minsan bayad agad..sus...dami kasi mga gamot na lumalabas ngyn sa tv.. so sa common na tao they think na nakakagaling nga kahit sinasabi na no therepeutic claims...malay ba nila hehe...basta si juday pumapayat..at yung matanda nakakapaglakad na ng paatras hehe dami na din drs na involved sa mga ganyan... :upside: ..hehe just my opinion lng naman...mejo delikado pa naman yung mga meds na na otc nila ngayon kaya dami naooverdose minsan...

then we researched for the illness vertigo and read the symptoms.. well most of the symptoms for vertigo was being experienced already.. question is this.. san po ba dapat pa consult for vertigo.. sa EENT or sa neurologist?

imho sir with due respect to the ent and neuro practitioners...for the diagnosis of dizziness...its a quite complex symptom that may involve several organ systems..since dizziness is a rather vague symptom.. it warrants careful history taking and review...in order to arrive at a conclusion..several investigations may be done per system.. starting from the most common to the more complex...its impossible to explain the whole process here but to make it short.. the practitioner will initially check the patients history.. starting from there..he will formulate a plan for the investigation..may it be requesting lab test/ancillary procedures to see any high or low values that may cause the dizzyness e.g blood sugar..anemia etc... after which the approach will be systematic...as for the most superficial to the deeper...e.g sight..hearing and balance...neurological..psychological...as for this..further consults or referrals shall be made to the specialist by which they will either give their impressions or rule out any disease taken in consideration....making the impressions of the disease lesser and more specific..afterwhich arriving at a final conclusion...and proper management shall be made then...

Consult your primary care physician first (family med, company physician, internist, pediatrician). He or she will be in a better position to refer you to a particular specialist (if you really need one)

Mga doc, it's me again...and its about mah wife pa rin... :(

 

It's been three weeks or nearly a month since I posted na fetal demise yung aming baby sa ultrasound. However, di pa rin dinudugo ang asawa ko and she is soo afraid kse dapat naka-ready na cia for raspa pero since ala pang bleeding indicating na lalabas na ung dead fetus di kami matuloy...bka mapaano sya dfahil nasa aloob pa yung dead na fetus sa loob nya and could cause infection on her part or even worse pa cguro...

What could possibly have happened?? What should you suggest that we do?

 

One more thing, would she still be positive sa pregnancy test?

Most doctors don't recommend a D & C for early pregnancy loss because in most cases, the woman's body is capable of passing out and reabsorbing tissue on its own. Sometimes oral medications lang naman ang binibigay.

 

Please have regular consults with your wife's OB para you'd be advised properly too. Don't be shy to ask her/him questions kasi she/he is in the best position to answer your inquiries.

i have a baby boy who was diagnosed with Ventricular Septal Defect

(may butas sa puso) since birth. now he is 1 1/2 yo. his pediacardio

says that it will never close by itself because of the size (moderate to large).

so my wife and i prepared ourselves for our babies open heart surgery

maybe next year (nag-iipon pa po). as of now our baby is fine and see his

pedia cardio monthly..

IMHO sir... it would be on the judgement of the ob if your wife will be needing a d&c...the womens body is capable of knowing if the pregnancy is viable or not...like in the case of blighted pregnancy..the body will eventually endergo processes to recover after knowing that the pregnancy is not viable..at this point if there are no complications like hemorrhage or infections the ob may wait for the products of conception to be passed out naturally...it will be based on the judgement of the ob if the case will warrant intervention. you may ask your ob to explain the process to you so you wont be bothered much and to know what will you expect..im sure he/she will gladly answer your questions....
