sunking
Hello po mga docs, bale may Allergic Rhinitis po ako, and i've been taking Claritin for 1 week na since pag nasa opis at bahay ako e ayaw tumigil ang allergy attacks ko.. so ask ko lang po na do I really need to take Claritin everyday para nde ako ma allergy attack or may ibang way para mawala allergy attacks ko? medyo mahal din kce Claritin e.. hehehe.. thanx in advance po.. Getting rid of allergies (or at least the symptoms): 1. Avoid the allergen. This means you know what it is. 2. Get desensitized. This means you know what it is. 3. Take medicine. Especially if you DON'T know what the allergen is. I would recommend taking Zyrtec instead. Ask your doctor for a prescription. It's more expensive but more convenient. Quote Link to comment

sunking
does zyrtec works for skin allergy? yung sa kamay It should. Unless you're constantly touching or holding something that causes the allergy, then you wouldn't expect much in the way of a persistent relief. Quote Link to comment
xwhiteshadowz
Semen characteristics do vary from person to person, month to month. Small changes in color, smell or taste are not necessarily cause for alarm. These changes may be caused by diet or lifestyle. But if your semen smells too sweet for comfort just get a Fasting Blood Sugar (FBS) for Diabetes screening especially if you have a family history of DM. Fast from midnight and go to the lab at 7-8 am and have your blood taken. Hope this helps. mostly diet affects the odor or taste of your sperm..if youre concerned or anxious bout the taste/odor of your semen you should refrain from taking in sulphur containing foods like asparagus it may affect the taste and try eating some citrus fruits e.g oranges to make your semen sweeter..not necessarily sugar rich food..since the sperm uses fructose as their main energy source maybe you can research on the foods that contain mainly of the said sugar...honey is one.. any corrections or comments greatly appreciated... xwhiteshadowz
I agree that this infection you have is probably not STD. I suggest you make sure that everything is eradicated. If the infection flares up and becomes uncontrolled, it might evolve into a fournier's disease. Kaya follow your doctor's advise and do follow up. Hmmm most probably this would be a rather common type of skin infection involving the pores of the anal skin...commonly staph aureus causes this kind of skin infection..folliculitis..oral antibiotics if of great help but most important to maintain dryness and cleanliness of the area....pinching the growths will also trigger several flare ups of lesions...better if you just leave it alone..topical antibiotic creams may be of help... As the case of fourniers dse..it is common in females with poor hygiene and have wound healing problems caused by systemic imbalances such as diabetes... If the lesions increase in size of doesnt improve after treatments you should better see a professional for further evaluation and other options.. Any corrections and suggestions are greatly appreciated Quote Link to comment

hint-of-lime
We are looking for toxicologist or emergency medical doctors. I felt that this is the fastest way to inform you on our need. Anyone out there? The Philippine General Hospital is home to the National Poison Control Center which is manned by some of the best toxicologists in the country. They also have a department of emergency medicine which produces emergency medicine specialists. Quote Link to comment

Segmenters in your complete blood count means that there is an ongoing infection. If the ER doctor told you it was a systemic VIRAL infection and if you had told him you were taking antibiotics, he should have told you to stop taking the antibiotics. Cefalexin does nothing for viral infections. What you should do next depends on your symptoms, if you have any. Can't give any advice as of now, short of seeking a proper medical consult. Sir, Go see another doctor. ASAP. Preferably at another institution lest you might see the first one who saw you. Essentially you need a second opinion. Quote Link to comment

I've been seeing a lot of patient with allergic rhinitis for the past 11 years(obvious ba ENT ako eh) , take any anti-allergy meds religiously (claritin, zyrtec) any brand will do whether it be generic or branded. better yet, consult the nearest ENT-head & Neck Surgeon in your area....you might need a dose of steriod (oral or nasal). Smoke,dust,cold/hot air, feathers, furs and a lot of other allergen might trigger an attack. :mtc: Quote Link to comment
