MikeyArrovo
anyone would love to fight with manny not because they want to prove they can beat manny but because of the money! anybody is a sure bet to lose but the hell they care. they're assured of the biggest paycheck in their boxing career. look at clottey and shane mosley. They did not fight to win. They just fought to survive. at the end of the day, clottey got $1.5M. mosley got $5M. JMM if the fight pushes through this Nov. 12 is assured of $5M. ^^^ makakasuhan si congressman manny pacquiao ng panggulpi ng isa pang matanda Quote Link to comment

solicitor
Pacquiao vs marquez is another harang, mismatch of a fight. They will fight again in a catchweight of 144lbs.,....why not fight those champs from certified boxing organization with no freaking catchweight? Quote Link to comment
jkruz
IMO, Pacquiao Team pushes that 144 - obviously, Manny's advantage. Regarding for fighting under an organization, dagdag lang sa babayaran ng promotion yun. So i think, hindi na kailangan. Quote Link to comment
solicitor
All am saying is that Manny should go after legitimate champions in the same weight class (welterweight or light welterweight), not some old hogwash/too small fighters.......Manny and his cohorts are all about money...so,stop this bullshit about him fighting for country etc etc etc.... Dinaya pa sya sa timbang ni floyd Sure na hindi gagawin ni pacquiao, masyado lang talo si pacquiao kung madrain pa sya ng timbang sa jr. lightweight na sure na matatalo sya sa laban. blow_gobi
Pacman-Marquez III could turn up to better than the Mosley or even a Mayweather fight. Marquez will mix it up (not run away) as this is a grudge fight, hindi bale nang bumagsak. And he has some confidence because the 1st 2 fights were close calls. But of course Pacman has improved a lot since his last fight with Marquez, and Marquez might have problems fighting in a heavier weight class. Of course, he has to prove himself first with the match with David Diaz. With more than one year of lay off, Mayweather is in no condition to fight Pacman outright. Bugbog sarado siya diyan. It's not going to be a good fight. If he wants to fight Pacman with a chance of winning he probably needs to have a tune-up match first para bumalik yung condition. Quote Link to comment
solicitor
Pacquiao, Bob Arum, Top Rank and their cohorts are the reasons why boxing is in a decaying stage. This boxing mafia is controlling the industry by pitting manny against inferior, old and has been fighters....and Manny is more than a willing victim....gone are the days of Duran, Hagler, sugar ray etc...an era wherein the best fighters are willing to fight each other not just for the money but for the prestige and for the boxing fans!!!! Pacman is a hypocrite...his standard "fighting for country kuno" or "him willing to fight anybody" is a nothing but a bunch of bullshit!!!He can easily say no to Bob Arum and fight the best boxers out there...f#&k him and also those who voted for him... :angry2: Edited May 26, 2011 by solicitor Quote Link to comment

Fighting marquez wasnt so easy for pacquiao. Quote Link to comment

I just don't see JMM do a Clottey or Mosley. However, palagay ko this is another one of those "money maker" just to keep the public interested enough if ever may pagasa pa ang pacman-gayweather showdown. My forecast....Pacquiao in 5. JMM is coming into this fight with all the disadvantage He'll be 38 years old by NovemberKailangan nyang magpabigatHis last fight at with Mayweather was not at all impressive Then again, hindi mapupulot ang $5M kung saan-saan lang. MP-JMM is Marquez' retirement fund. Kung halimbawa ako ang nasa lagay ni Pacquiao baka ganun din ang gagawin ko Pacquiao's rise to the top did not happen overnight. Madaming taon din ang ginugol niya para marating ang kinalalagyan nya. Why would you risk years of hardwork kung wala maliit lang ang maipapasok nito sa kaban mo? Besides, kung sakaling manalo ng sya sa mga tulad nila Berto or Ortiz, hindi ba kaawa-awa din naman ang career ng mga ito? Pasikat pa lang, malalaos na sila dahil mapapatapat sila kay Pacquiao. Pacquiao is 32 (or 33). I figure he'll still be in top form for another 2 or 3 years. Maybe, he's saving up his last fight for these up and comers. Who knows? You know? LOL! Quote Link to comment
