andrewfordmedina Posted September 15, 2006 Share Posted September 15, 2006 ahhh...Manila from way back remember the COD Department Store in Cubao?the Yuletide Show there was one of a kind :cool: i recently learned (about a year ago) that COD closed shop and was replaced by PureGold... The concept of the COD Yuletide show was acquired (or bought?) by the Ortigas Company Ltd. and placed in the Greenhills Shopping Center. Even the artists that used to design the COD Christmas extravaganza were transferred to the employ of the Ortigas Company. just some trivia..... Quote Link to comment

In the early 70s, ginagala namin yan ng uncle ko from his Reuters office located on the same bldg. where you see the Telegraph office.
