otitismedia
question regarding some STD like herpes. i read somewhere even if the other peron looks clean even by skin contact you can contract the virus? so does this mean most of us have it only hindi lang nararamdaman? http://www.cdc.gov/std/Herpes/STDFact-Herpes.htm#Howspread HSV-1 and HSV-2 can be found in and released from the sores that the viruses cause, but they also are released between outbreaks from skin that does not appear to be broken or to have a sore. Generally, a person can only get HSV-2 infection during sexual contact with someone who has a genital HSV-2 infection. Transmission can occur from an infected partner who does not have a visible sore and may not know that he or she is infected. HSV-1 can cause genital herpes, but it more commonly causes infections of the mouth and lips, so-called "fever blisters." HSV-1 infection of the genitals can be caused by oral-genital or genital-genital contact with a person who has HSV-1 infection. Genital HSV-1 outbreaks recur less regularly than genital HSV-2 outbreaks. galing sa cdc (center for disease control and prevention ) Quote Link to comment
angel_by_day
am looking for a discreet clinic... any suggestions?am also looking for a discreet clinic. thanks in advanceim also looking for a discreet clinic ^^ ano bang "discreet" ang gusto nyo? I'm not exactly sure what you mean...but here are more than 2 cents worth of medical advice for you: 1.) if you mean a hidden, not-so-obvious clinic, then most likely, it is unreliable.2.) at any rate, whichever clinic you go to, any MD would keep all things confidential. otitismedia
Hello, does anyone knows san magaling magpagamot ng genital warts? you can try your nearest suking derma.... or if you like gynecologist often treats genital warts of female patients.... Quote Link to comment
PeterPetrelli
Hi Nadia, I would like to consult to you about my problem. I have itchiness occassionally under my testes but my urine is normal (no bad smell or walang nana), no burning sensation when i urinate. Could you please help me what is my current problem and how could i cure it. Would it be a possible fungal infection? Thank you in advance. Quote Link to comment
flashman
These meds are not meant to be used for moist tissues of the genital area. They can even cause more pain and irritation. I would like to consult to you about my problem. I have itchiness occassionally under my testes but my urine is normal (no bad smell or walang nana), no burning sensation when i urinate. Could you please help me what is my current problem and how could i cure it. Would it be a possible fungal infection?I'm not Dr. Nadia but I'd like to suggest a derma consult for your problem. Warm moist areas of the body are often prone to fungal infection. Your MD can determine if it's indeed a fungal infection or another skin disorder such as psoriasis or form of dermatitis. A Wart is an abnormal skin condition, a Dermatologist should handle this with no problem at all. They specialize on "THE LARGEST PART OF THE BODY" - Your Skin.... They are not limited to facial treatments only. So if you have problems which involves your skin (STD/STI or NOT) you can check with your Dermatologist. Good Day. Quote Link to comment

Kindly refrain from self-diagnosing and self-medicating as you might get into more trouble if you'll take the wrong drug for a certain disease. Quote Link to comment

Yes "kuto" of lice can be seen, you can use kwel shampoo which can be bought over the counter, it's better shave the area clean to see if there are any fungal infections just to be sure, if symptoms of itchiness still occurs... its better to see your dermatologists, after all they are the experts :goatee: Edited December 27, 2007 by MaxHardcore Quote Link to comment

Justiin13
Im getting confused with some data. the window period for HIV is really 3 months or 6 months? i asked some doctors they kept swinging from 3 and 6 Quote Link to comment
taz31
^actually its very variable. it can range from as low as 3 mos to as long as a year or more . its a case by case basis and also depends on the person's immune defenses (if he's susceptible to all kinds of infection). you have to consider if you're high risk (e.g. having unprotected sex with different women or unprotected anal homosexual sex which is the population with the highest risk of getting HIV) or if ur partner is highrisk too (if he/she uses IV drugs, fooling around, etc.) Quote Link to comment
