If you are infected with HIV, theres an acute phase which manifests with flu-liie symptoms, typical of most viruses. This usually happens 2-4 weeks after infection.

 

After this, there's a latent phase na wala kang symptoms. Some people have this phase for up to 10 years.

 

Left unchecked, this will progress to AIDS. Dito na lalabas yung ibat ibang opportunistic infections due to the low immune cells that you have.

So I decided to go to my city social hygiene clinic to take HIV/Syphilis and Swab tests. So far, HIV Non reactive ako but medyo tulala ako the next day sa result ng swab test ko. Meron raw ako small hint of infection. small sign of pus if i could remember correctly. They gave me meds and would take urinalysis after 5 days.

Any advice on this one?

Nope. Genital swab po. konti sa loob ng penis.

To add: Took antibiotic 1000mg and wait for 5 days to get a urinealysis. I hope to God sana wag na lumala. Good boy na ako.
But i always do wear cd eveytime. Meron lang naka pag bbbj sa akin 3 months - 4 months ago. Thats it.

Maybe suspected ka sir for nisseria gonorrhea or commonly known as tulo. If hindi naman baka yeast infection. But most likely nisseria gonorrhea yan if puss cells ang lumalabas sa tio ng ari niyo sir. Pwde dn chlamydia not sure but I hope nd masyadong serious inf. Yan sir always ingat lng sir.

Good to know bro. Basta monitor mo lng if ever sumakit yung pag ihi mo and may nakita kang mga discharge na lumalabas don't hesitate to go to urologist and immediately do some lab test. For your own peace of mind sige bro.

Thanks bro. never po ung symptoms nangyare na may discharge. nor sakit na pag ihi. more than 3 months na never pa nag show ng signs or whatsoever. Ill do a second opinion nlg cguro pag may results ang urinalyis.

Wag kang matakot. Mas nakakatakot kung patagalin mo, or worse, mag self medicate ka through suggestions from friends and mga nagmamarunong na tao. Ang mga doctor ay nandyan para tulungan tayo hindi para takutin. Usually 1 week na gamutan lang ang katapat, kesa lumalala pa.

8 weeks should be fine. Time course is 2-4 weeks although may up to 10 months development time. You may opt to repeat testing after 4 weeks.

 

Lesson learned, wear rubber.

Pus cells can mean so many things, pwede rin yang UTI, ano bang antibiotic iniinom mo? lagay mo siguro dito ang values ng urinalysis mo.

Hi Results are:

Color straw Transparency Hazy ph 5 specific gravity 1.025 Protein negative sugar Negative RBC 0 - 2 PUS cells 1 - 3 Amorphorous Urates few Epithelial Cells few Bacterial few Mucus threads few

Medyo panic ako sa bacterial and pus. So I went to do a second opinion. This time Urologist na talaga. He said to me (I think azythromicin ung anti biotic was presicribed 500mg 2 tabs.) what they did to me sa city health office was shotgun therapy raw. Bombarded ung dosage. He also said to me na dapat pinaalam ng city health office kng ano ung infection ko. Tumawa na llang xa sa, perhaps sa ginawa ng city health. But I had to confirm though. Sabi nya, Normal lang raw. Esp ung Pus Cells. If meron infection, based on his experience it would spike to 50 at peeing would be so very hard raw.

Also sabi nya baka ung bacterial sa urinalysis ko was contaminated kasi hindi clean catch ung ginawa ko (Huwag raw ung initial stream ng ung kunin nang sample but ung mid stream ng pee. )

 

Just for good measure, pina examine ko si Junior externaly for issues. So far, wala naman problema raw.

 

Lastly, sabi ko. Doc, baka asymptomatic ako d pa lumabas ung symptom. He said was, usually or at most, females ung carrier and ung males mabilis talaga lumabas ung infection.

 

So that's that. He prescribe me some tablets raw and do a test again after 15days.

Kaso it was then the COVID 19 attack so nag tago muna ako sa bahay. I think next week na ako mag pa laboratory ulit.
