I was able to try Ma Ling hotdogs last week from shopwise cubao. Masarap siya, lalo na pag medyo tostado ang luto. Parang yung mga old school hotdogs when I was growing up.

german and spanish for my european language requirements, but i haven't been able to retain much of either except for the basics, i.e. guten tag, guten morgen, como esta... you get the picture.

strangely enough, i've managed to retain more french that either of the abovementioned languages, thanks to most of my barkada opting for the french elective and practicing it in front of me all day. most of the stuff i've retained wouldn't make sense in casual conversation, though. hahaha!

naku, pabling, i'll ask my dad, pero kasi wala akong masyadong kilala na van rental people dun dahil van ng tito ko usually gamit namin pag umuuwi kami, e.

anyway, here's a tip. if you're into long walks on the beach like i am, there's a nice and secluded place after bohol beach club that you can hang out at. facing the sea from BBC, walk towads your right and just keep walking till you get past the public beach. may makikita kayong malaking bato na dead end dun, used to be part of my tita's property. ginawa nilang dive resort noon, pero alam ko abandoned na ngayon, e. nice place to hang out and watch the ocean if you want a bit of solitude. i used to sit there for hours just watching the horizon. nice place to recharge. ingat lang pag just after sunset when the rocks are cooling kasi naglalabasan ang mga walo-walo (sea snakes that bohol is infamous for) at medyo mabilis ang angat ng tubig. if you get there at sunrise or around 3pm, the view is spectacular.

ayan ha, nagshare ako ng secret space ko. well, one of them, at least. treat it well, please. no hanky-panky and don't leave your garbage. leave it the way you found it or, if possible, in a better state. it's been years since i've been back and i miss it badly. say hello to the rock for me. cheers!

lenly's on white beach accepts big grooups. aircon cottages are okay and it feels like you're staying at your aunt's place. home-cooked, simple meals are available and are okay for the price. look for ate rose, she'll set you up. hope this helps. cheers!

para di OT, i like the oreo cheesecake at burgoo. i also like this cheesecake that my sister got for me at bizu, but i forgot what it was called. gosh, now i'm seriously craving cheesecake. argh, there goes the so-called diet!

Just started The Shadow of the Wind by Carlos Ruiz Zafon, but I can't seem to get into it at the moment, so I might switch to Andiong Agimat, a graphic novel by Arnold Arre. Tamang-tama, I might be able to get it signed at the Con during the weekend. (Yes, I'm a geek. So sue me. )
