it's a nice place but it's not the typical galerawhite beach resort....sobrang peaceful and quiet dun...more for honeymooners than magbabarkada...or if you're looking for solitude...

you have to trek down to go swimming sa beach...and tho malinis naman sya, nde rin sya talagang nililinis and may makakasabay kang mga locals... pero may pool naman... food served there, tho a little pricey din, is good

Agree ako sa yo pre! Used to love going to their cubao branch for the mami and siopao...yum...yum...naaalala ko pa pag hinahanda yung mami...gugupitin sa harap mo yung pork, beef and chicken na toppings...sayang wala na.

ang alam ko meron pa yung sa may banawe ah.... then again, ma ssure ako sa branch sa quiapo yun lang nga ang mahal na ng mami nila... P70-85 ata per order... buti yung siopao asa P35 lang...

do try TORTA DE LOS REYES from Aristocrat Bakeshop the small one costs P260 I think (the size of a half-roll)... it's actually a chocolate version of sans rival... so its best served chilled

i have heard of two cases where they opted radiation before administering chemo treatments... what happened was, the cells didn't respond to the chemo treatments anymore kasi parang naluto na...

anyway... hopefully radiation will be good for my nephew who is only turning 3.... and has been battling cancer since October last year.

my Grandpa had prostate cancer and died... but he was almost 80 when that happened... and maybe because I was still a child, the implications of the disease didn't hit me as much

then his youngest son (my uncle) had colon cancer... had to even have a part of his intestines removed... but again, i didn't actually feel the impact of the disease in our family's life, despite the fact that i watched over him with his wife...

but when my nephew was stricken... a child i watched from infancy... a child i love and adore... we were really devastated... cancer really strikes in random inasmuch as it punishes those who led unhealthy lifestyles (smoking?)...

and we're still waiting for my nephew to be declared cancer-free... but there are more treatments ahead of him... and we're just really grateful that kids are more graceful and brave and resilient than we can ever be...

the premise is that, when we die, we meet 5 people (i dunno why it's assumed everybody goes to heaven) in heaven for a last understanding of sorts... they'd welcome you, explain to you, show you things, ask you things, and basically make you have that final understanding of your LIFE as you lived it... so that you can really MOVE ON and DIE (or rather, wait your turn for the people you will meet naman... before entering real heaven)
