that's the point, malena is doing her job... in pro wrestling your character should be hated or liked according to what the promoter wants you to do... case in point: when the rock debuted in wrestling, he was introduced as a goody-two-shoes babyface(good guy)... man, the poor guy was booed out of every match he ever wrestled... the character wasn't going over really well with the fans so they decided to make him into a heel(bad guy) & it worked... the rock to this is still remembered as one of the best heels in wrestling... it's all about heat...

first part of that movie was shot in olongapo, richard gere's dad robert loggia was supposed to be a service man assigned to subic & there was a scene there where a kid playing gere as a boy & loggia were riding in a jeepney & anothere scene where loggia was drinking SMB...

the orginal scorpio nights with ana marie gutierez & daniel fernando... definitely ahead of it's time...
